The "universe" thing has me thinking of an MMO or cross-over game. That's the best my feeble imagination can think of without getting into joke-territory. Well... I'm thinking, it will be..anime? Because "universe" - good title for anime, or cartoon show. |

Although Kirby IS a Lovecraftian beast who subjugates smaller nonharmful races to its enormous appetite and brings angryfaced monarchs back into their thrones, so he's probably got something there.

With a name like Mega Man Universe, I'm thinking it might be a crossover fighting game that has all the characters from all the Mega Man series' (classic, X, Zero, ZX, EXE, and Dash) jam-packed together to make many different types of fights and matches. If that were the case, that'd be incredibly colossal. But you can't hope for everything.

Well, just to add to that speculation, I talked with Seth Killian at PAX and asked him about MegaMan Mania, and he said that Capcom was definitely still interested in doing something with those games still.
So it's not improbable.

I hope it's a 3d megaman game. That would be awesome. Don't get me wrong here, I loved legends, but it wasn't very megaman like if you really think about it. I'm talking weapon switching and boss selection and whatnot, gameplay stuff. I think a megaman game in 3d could be done better with this next gen hardware and experience that capcom has.
