Noooot really Powermetal usually has a structure with more instrument solos and structure in general. Also the composition and vocals are different. Although the song isn't reeeeaaally folk, and it differs from most black folk in that it doesn't use traditional instruments so I can't really classify it like that either. Genres are a [sonic slicer]. Case in point it sounds like black folk to me. \o/

I just typed in Susumu Hirasawa for shits'n'giggles and soundtrack to this came up. Decided to look up tracks on YT... and holy [parasitic bomb] instant buy.
