What I meant was... I don't think I know how to draw any other kind of stance either ^^;
Justin, try drawing someone umm... jumping, I guess o.o from the side
If I ever get the chance, yes. I'll try some sort of action pose besides standing. Posted on: June 23, 2010, 01:50:11 PM
...But in the meantime, here's an animated GIF I created recently. Posted on: June 23, 2010, 01:52:16 PM
Hey everyone. I just thought of showing this artwork of a character from Aozora Jitsuwa. Sorry it isn't an action pose or anything like that. I do plan to try artwork of someone running/jumping/attacking in the near future. For those wondering, the character above is a male.Posted on: July 17, 2010, 03:39:57 AM
And now we have... more artwork for Aozora Jitsuwa, this time featuring Sakaki. Posted on: July 25, 2010, 03:08:48 AM
And we have a new picture of Gardenia from Pokemon, and also the revival of cell-shading.

The outline of the middle image clashes with the background. Did you have her linework layer set on "Multiply"? If you set the blending mode for her linework on Multiply, and put the background on a layer beneath the linework and colour layers, it will keep the linework from standing out white and jaggy like that.
The two-tone shading on the third image is nicely done, though.

Thanks, I happen to like the third image myself; It's probably (one of) the best in my gallery so far. Posted on: July 31, 2010, 02:41:41 PM
And here comes some new artwork. It's Moriya from Aozora Jitsuwa, designed by one of my friends on deviantART. (this character was designed by my friend; I drew this image. Just to avoid possible confusion.)

Thanks. New art is ready. It's Skye from Aozora Jitsuwa, who was designed by another of my friends. Posted on: August 13, 2010, 03:34:07 AM
Finally, something I can post with little to no problem. (I know the skirt looks horrible. ) She's Reika Kirishima from Shikigami no Shiro, just incase anyone doesn't know.

You're getting better. A few things though: The torso seems too long to me. And look out for the neck. Also a tip: Anime faces are nice and all but you might wanna try and make them a bit more unique and less bland. RKS and Touhou and the such suffer from that too. They all have the same face. Oh yeah: Really nice background.

I do like the texturing on the claws. His shoulders seem a bit on the skinny side, though. Men usually have broader shoulders than women, even girly-boys. This one is quite nice, though.
