The "Rockman 10 / Mega Man 10 Ranking" Thread

I was thinking that there needs to be one thread for everyone to send their high scores or times for this game, no matter how good or bad it is. That way, we can compare them with each other and you get your own page where your submissions are listed. ^^

Got a 32:04 with Mega on Normal. #22 on the All Clear board. I can do better though; there was a death in the Wily stages. Dunno if I can break 30 minutes just yet.

I'm curious, what's your order? I did Nitro first, then went to Pump and followed the order from there.

I haven't done much with Time Attack. I did Blade and Pump for the hell of it. My times there are pretty sucky, so I won't bother. My Commando Man time, on the other hand, is much better. 1:41:36, which debuted on the leaderboard at #5. It's down to 26th now, though.

Wily Castle 4 TA, 3:56:41.  Hopefully a watchable video will inspire some competition on this leaderboard, since it kinda sucked last night.  The top two legitimate times were about half a minute apart!  Someone had to do something about it (well, once I saw the board anyway; I was just going to upload my 4:28:XX replay), even if I went back in without reviewing anything for optimal strategies (so I'd say there's at least 10 seconds to be gained here, and I would not be surprised to see ~3:36 at some point with massive luck manipulation)....

Movin' on up with a 26:41. Rank #12. So I'm not on the Top 10, but I'm on the Top Legit 10. That's something, right?

 I changed my route to Pump-Solar-Chill-etc. Had a death on the third Wily Archive, and ran out of Thunder Wool on the Pump Man refight. Wouldn't have if I didn't have to waste one of my W Cans on Blade, though. I absolutely SUCK at using Commando Bomb.

Don't worry, Vixanye West, I won't be beating you for a long time.

I have a couple pointers, actually. I'd consider buying an M Can before entering the fortress, and not buying the half damage item. And on Wily Machine's second form, if you're really quick, you can probably hit him in the air with three Rebound Strikers each pass. Oh, and pray for good luck on the Giant Enemy Crab.

How did you get a 1:22 on Blade Man?

I don't know. Maybe pause or screen changing has something to do with it?

No matter how many attempts I did before on the same stage, the time stayed that way.

When I kept working on both Solar Man and Nitro Man's stages, depending on the things I did on the stages, the time would add or remove 10 seconds to the final time. My time on Solar Man used to be 3:53, but I got it down to 3:43. And the same way with Nitro Man, I used to have 7:17, but I got it down to 7:07. And no matter how many mistakes I did on Commando Man's stage, or how good I played, I still only got 8:38.

Maybe it has to do with the whole performance of your run in every stage. Maybe Inti added something to the game that changes the time. The game will add some kind of penalty to your time depending on what you're doing. Like what kind of weapons you use or if you got hit by an enemy. o.o

I will go back and see if there's any difference on the next run.

Oh wow, this is funny. I deleted my MM10 save file to try some stuff out. And i noticed that my all clear record was still there. Well I beat the game again. I improved my time to 26:30.

My old time is still there. So I am now ranked #8 and #10. That's hilarious.

I'm just happy I was able to finish at all... though this is actually the second time I finished Hard w/Blues.  I accidentally lost the photos for my 3:01:01 blind run finish and had to do it again. I chose to start completely over, though, just so my time wouldn't run over two hours.  I was honestly expecting a 1:45:XX time.

So yeah.  I earned my Superhero crown with Proto Man.  I feel completely awesome!

i got 1st place on pump man after a few dozen hours and probably 1000 + tries. I am very proud i finally accomplished something in my life this serious to me.

i tried taking like 10 pictures literally but my camera is a piece of [parasitic bomb] seriously ..every time the flash gets on one of the damn numbers. the time is:

07:57:36 hours - i was not playing for any sort of fastest time or any record. Just as a "first time ever" experience. And boy it was super extremely hard of course. at first i tried the wily castle with only like 2 e tanks or something, and i got stuck in wily 3 for a few hours straight cause i could never beat the block devil boss...so i spent hours trying to stock up on bolts, i  buy 2 e tanks, it was not enough so i was really pissed.

then i restarted the wily castle all over again this time stocking up until i had 999 bolts to get 9 E tanks. grr ... and i finally made it this time. With only 2 e tanks left at the defeat of wily. (i used 4 on the final battle alone literally with the space pods
