You know what until I know what his final form looks like I'll call him Porkchop.

Speaking of his final form, I'd love it if it was something like this.

About time Pokemon Sunday actually showed something new XD

The battle animation looks quite smooth.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Nice.

Also;

Quote from: PokéBeach
* Pokemon battles are much more dynamic - the camera moves around and zooms in and out and the Pokemon are not just standing there with one picture hopping up and down. Rather, the sprites are constantly animated.
    * Zorua and Zoroark's Illusion ability does not change their Darkness type. When encountering them, they use the sprite of the Pokemon they are imitating and their name as well, though we still do not know how it is determined what Pokemon they imitate. We also don't know yet how to figure out you are battling a disguised Zorua or Zoroark. Perhaps they can only use their own moves, and once you see a Claw Sharpen coming out of an Oddish, you'll think it's a Zorua or Zoroark. And of course they transform back into themselves during the battle, though we don't know what the requirements are for this yet (Hit them with an attack? Weaken them?). In one of the previous screenshots, Raikou used Aura Sphere against Zoroark and it changed back to its real form, so maybe only super effective attacks will cause them to reveal themselves?
    * When you run by people, they can talk to you without you hitting A on them.

People talking to you when not hitting A? FFFFFFF?

Damn, I was gonna post that!

I like the whole them talking without you pressing A. Gives it a more lively feeling. Because, you know, random people don't only speak when you walk up to them and initiate conversation. They could be saying something.

And there's no GS-style rotating battle system, apparently. But the camera does change slightly, as shown when Pokabu attacks... umm.. Grass-starter. I forget his name. :P

Thier idles animate beautifully, they just need to complete the fainting and hurt poses and then it'll be a truly unique experience.  :D

And Black and White has Natl. Pokedex from the start?

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-?

With dat Dog Trio event going on, it's possible.  :)
Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Now

Can they make it rain/snow during a battle without having to tell us after every attack that it's raining?

Or have it be sunny? Any weather condition? Really? Without telling us every single turn?

Really, can't be too hard!

...I don't get it.

They're just doing the default idle animation while the attack comes out. I mean, sure, the animations look nice, but it just seems like the same old thing except they're dancing while Flamethrower-ing and LeafStorming...

Tis nice to finally see some NPCs that aren't on eternal house arrest though.

We are talking about the idle animations before any attack comes out.
In the past games, the sprites just "hop" up and down.
Now, your can see Raikow moving it's tail, prepping itself to attack, animation like that.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Well, for Psychic and Ghost types it looks natural to not have an idlle animation :P

True. Maybe some fighting as well (I'm not being unnaturally still, I'm focusing!)

Then again, maybe some moves could turn the anim off, like Focus Energy. To demonstrate that they are focusing.

Graduation from unnatural stiffness to unnatural swaying. Awesome.

It would work with certain PokeMon though (Hitmonchan and Jumpluff come to mind. Or Magikarp 8))

I CONCUR!

Ghost types can have special idle animations that don't require movement of the actual Pokemon. For example, for Gastly, some smoke could evaporate off into the air or something.

Judging by that pic there, and claims that the new land is somewhere far away, I have a theory. Whereas I've heard claims that it's NEW YORK and stuff... judging by that bridge, I feel it might be more likely to be San Francisco.

Or maybe the speculation is just dumb.

Nice find, Akira! Like the music!

Actually, I think that makes sense if only because it's a shorter distance from Japan to California than Japan to New York :P

Yeah, and the SF Bay Area is more of an immigration site for the Japanese than New York is. Not to mention all the piers shown in that pic, and the big ass ships. San Francisco does have a lot of piers, and there are a lot of old ships in this area as well. Then there's the skyscrapers, and the one in the middle does look somewhat pointy to me, like the TransAmerica building in real-life SF. Also, the fact that Hiun City is on either a small island or a peninsula (and it looks man-made) is easily comparable to the fact that San Francisco is on a peninsula (which, if memory serves, is also mostly man-made). All these bring me to the conclusion that Hiun City is based off of San Francisco.
