I think I showed in the matches I picked Ness and Lucas that I forgot how to use them effectively. Sonic laid the smackdown a few times, though. I was surprised at some of those wins because of how close the matches felt.

That's because PK Freeze is a better move than PK Cross, with better range, angling, etc. The only thing PB Cross has over PK Freeze is PK POWAH. That.....and it's not too bad at getting the Smash Ball either!

My favorite matches of the night were the surprisingly lag-less Double Sonic Double Snake matches, filmed in Confuse-O Vision!

Confusing doesn't begin to describe that series of matches. At one point, I thought I was the one who grabbed the Smash Ball and started raining firr on everyone until I noticed that I had walked off screen.

Oddly enough, on the Luigi's mansion one, Sonic didn't want to move left to get back to the platform in Sudden Death. He stayed in place and I didn't have enough distance to reach the ledge. He really could have, though. Ah well, it was still fun.

You could tell when, in the first 2.0 match, my wife started talking to me. It's a pity when family members cannot grasp the concept of being unable to pause.

Couldn't regain momentum after that. But it was fun whipping your ass beforehand.

And the timer STILL hates me, even if it is 2.0.

LoL, at least you had Hammer Time power in those beginning Survival matches. But yeah, I was surprised I won that first 2.0 match as well.

Well, I've learned some things today. LoL, I've learned that Yoshi's Down B move can...somehow cancel Triforce Slash. I also had the wonderful experience of just MAGICALLY dying on Castle Siege, during level transference, once again. LoL, THAT one never ceases to amaze me!
