Why the [tornado fang] would you ever wanna see a flashback of something you've already seen? Are you retarded? Flashbacks exist as a way to tell events out of chronology to build any number of emotions by leaving some things secret. Or do you think Zero versus Sigma in X4 should've been in X1?

No, but I would've liked to have seen the events that have taken place so that I know what actually happened.

I don't like flashbacks in general, but when they show things that wasn't actually shown then I get a little miffed.

This is also true when the hero suddenly has a ring that didn't show up until the episode he has it.

But the point, you're missing it. Repeating the same events is for low entertainment. A well written story should have no need for repeats. Moving stuff around in chronology shouldn't be copying & pasting, it should be switching.

Like, remember The Ghost of Christmas Past? Do you think A Christmas Carol would've been served better by repeating any of those scenes, or were they succinct enough?
