Actually I'm planning on getting a used car, an 05 Pontiac G6 with only 48k miles on it. There was a '04 Dodge Neon I saw, but it looked like someone had anger management issues that they took out on it. =/

Mad Jack is easier than he looks. I think you have to hit switches that are on white panels and not blue... or the ones that are lit up.

Actually, that's not how you fight him.

Phase 1: Really simple, all you got to do is hit him with shockwaves generated from hitting a switch. There's a risk, as either or not that if you are on the wrong switch, you get hit. if you are on the same colored panel he's on, you'll deal damage to him. This fight is reeeaallyy tricky the first time you face him on your first run. Damn boss.
