While texting can be handy sometimes, you should really do it at a time you don't have something else to take care of. Such as school and, well walking.

Not to mention a metrolink crashed into another because someone was texting. I forgot how many die there but it was definetly like at least 20 or more.

I remember there being an earlier train accident in I think Chicago where the cause was determined to be that the conductor was texting. Then there are the countless of auto accidents due to texting. Pennsylvania is finally cracking down on it and putting laws into effect that ban the usage of cellphones while driving.

Yeah, there are still states out there that haven't put those laws into effect. Last I heard, only 17 states had those laws.
