A Tournament stick is out of the question. I don't have, nor could I ever see myself spending $100 on a accessory.

It's worse up at my mum's. The wolf spiders come inside, along with damn near everything else. Snakes, millipedes, centipedes, beetles of various kinds, flying insects of various types, mice, the occasional bird or squirrel...

Heh. Considering she lives two miles up the side of a mountain way back in the woods, off the beaten path, then it's pretty understandable that there are critters everywhere.
