That's cheap compared to the tank set-up I had for my iguana.

I know. It was about $150 for this set for iguanas that included the tank, bowls, light, and the sand.

Its a small leopard gecko. The school teacher did not want to take care of it anymore, so he offered it away for free. I jumped at the opportunity.

Ah. Never kept a gecko... yet. Kept a skink, anoles, bearded dragons, and iguanas, but never a gecko yet.

Ball pythons are good beginner snakes. Nice and docile.
