Things had changed a lot here since I first joined here (and i was an idiot back then and probably still am right now), though I not even sure whether this place turned to the worst or better....then again, I noticed a lot of people had a personality change or went missing/hiatus etc for whatever reason.

On a side note, I like lurking around here.

Does anyone know of any way to compress videos in Virtualdub? My last video which was 1.28 despite it only being 49 sec worth of video although it did have a lot frames to it. Is there any way to compress the video without going into gigabytes?

The simplest advice to give, is to get some codecs such as divx, xvid and the x264 codec. Then [tornado fang] around with bit rate/quality and other stuff until you're satisfied.

I'll try to find a certain link, which had shitload info about this. I'll let you know if I'll find it.

(However do try to exepriment on your own, just get the codecs, unless you already have them).
