if you are the person working the register at the time of the robbery, the boss can get mad at you ^^;
Plus she said she enjoys working there.
So? An employee isn't obligated to stop a thief. They could be packing & all sorts of [tornado fang]'d up on meth or PCP or some other ridiculously hard drug. Do you know how big of a lagality that is for them? They'd honestly rather you mind your own business for the most part, at least in my experience.

Ah, but your question was why would she care.

No matter what, it can be viewed as your fault. Plus if you had the chance to get him in such a sweet ass trap like that... Wouldn't you?

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

To be perfectly honest, I pretty much locked him in because I thought it would be hilarious.

That and, because I could.

Hilarity is reason enough for me.

You are a very honest person. Not because you stopped a thief, but
because you revealed the truth behind your selfish motivations. I think your rad for that alone.

I probably would have done the same- if not just to teach him to rob my store, but just to see the look on his face.

Did you point out your index finger towards him in a dramatic fashion?

Yknow, that definitely must have been a perfect Kodak moment. Too bad you didnt have a camera.

No, it was more fitting to my sense of humor to just stare and calmly walk away after locking him in.

I didn't even run to get security.

Walked like a peaceful monk.

Once he gets out of prison, he is SO looking for you.

Alright, causing others to suffer is a respectable reason to go out of your way.
