I don't really know enough about the Lantern-verse to write a decent backstory for myself. I've tried looking up Wikipedia and some other sites for information, but I'm still not too clear on the Blue Lantern Corps and how they work.

Anybody care to help me out here?

Well, I finally couldn't wait for someone else to draw it so I penciled a [tornado fang]ing awesome image of Blue Lantern VulpesPyreX but tou won't be able to see it because I don't have access to a working scanner.

I decided to yoink the scanner in my dad's office. Since the computer down there wasn't working (or the video cards anyway) I assumed I wouldn't be able to use the scanner. But I downloaded the driver for said scanner for my MacBook... and well just look at it.

As close as I could get considering my *ahem* artistic abilities. I was using the cover of GL #48 for reference, but I'm still a bit unsure if it worked out.

I had to put a bandanna around VPX's neck, he wouldn't be my favorite vulpine withou it.

No, the Blue Lantern recruitment is done by other Blue Lanterns, then they are taken to Ganthet & Sayd for evaluation and details. A Green Lantern just needs to be present in order for the Blue Lantern Ring's full power to be accessed.
