This was just something I typed up a few days ago, and it is loosely tied with the RP "Busy World". As of now these are really just random stories that show the brighter (or more comedic) side of what goes on in the WDS, still a WIP but none the less, Enjoy!
Afro's Adventures
Episode 1:
Another Day, Another Verification. (or Afro and the Demo test)
Part 1
It was another peaceful day in RPM City, and every one was busy with either their day to day business or
enjoying them selfs. All was good and well today; No hostile take over by a mad man, no disaster threatening the city,
or even the well being of any one was at risk. It was just a nice, peaceful day...if you weren't working at Dr. Wily II's
World Domination Station (WDS) that is...
The fortress like rooms and corridors of the lower five floors were dead silent, with most of the robots either
recharging their energy supplies or receiving maintenance. The top five floors were all similar to various office buildings
and laboratories one would see else where. They were nearly quite and empty save for the quite hum of the Doctor's
numerous equipment and machinery and the occasional Met on patrol. Tayio, DWII's personal Lab assistant, sat across a small
table from Dan, boosted up on an old phone book, and both stared at the table with an intense gaze. Both were silent until
Dan broke the silence, "slow day today.". Taiyo simply nodded in agreement, "it's good to have some quite time every now
and then, If you don't it can seriously drain you out." he responded as he then leaned closer to the table. Taiyo then
pointed towards what appeared to be a large picture book, "There's waldo." "Curses!" replied Dan, "That's the third time
in a row that you found him before me." Dan then closed the 'Where's Waldo' book on the table and hopped down from the
chair. "Well thanks for that, But I better get going back to Afro's Room and check up on somethings I was working on
before." Dan was about to leave until he suddenly stepped back, leaning against the wall, and briefly looked at the time,
"3...2...1...now!". No sooner could a yell of sorts be heard from down the hall way. "Heh, you can set your watch to those
two can't you?" Chuckled Taiyo.
"GAAAH!" yelled Afro-Shroom, DWII's Personal Lab verifier, as he flailed down the hall way where Dan and Taiyo
were as Dr. Wily II himself was grasping onto Afro's Afro, gnawing it heartly and enjoying every moment of it. "OM NOM NOM
NOM!", he yelled out in spite of having a full mouth of Afro. "WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS!?" yelled Afro. "Becausef I canf, andf secondlyf itf DELICIOUSf!" he responded before gnawing harder. Afro's now trade mark 'Gahs' echoed in the hallways as he rushed through the hallways, flailing about until they both reached the reception area of the WDS. Dan shook his head as Afro and DWII left, "I sometimes wonder if it was better for me to have been scrapped back then..." He mumbled as he turned around and left to His and Afro's room.
Meanwhile in the reception area, the reception bot was busily typing away when a silhouette fell upon him. "Oh, it is you. Welcome to the WDS, the Doctor is expecting you. Please wait as I page him." The reception bot then types some more into the computer before him. "He will be here momentarily, thank you for waiting...Mistress VixyNyan."
