When people tell me that something I did it's better than anything they could do it makes my ego/self-steem bigger, but then I look again at the people that can actually draw and it goes back to normal or lower

Anyways, remind me to scan my stuff before I leave for the US and won't be able to scan anything for half a month.

First one I did after a long time to "derust". Unfinished since I didn't like how it was ending up besides the head and arm/hand.

No, you do not get any points or cookies for guessing what inspired this. Yes, Karel is being forced to do it and will probably beat me to death within the next 30 seconds.

Sheesh, I think at this point my thread has died and revived more than your average comic book hero

Anyways, college is here to stay for the next 5 or so years, you know what it means? That's right! Lots and lots of drawing instead of doing what I'm supposed to be doing/paying attention! So here's the first picture I did for the first page of my brand new sketchbook.

It was a quick drawing so I didn't bother to make the pose look better.

Then I drew some characters to derust after not having drawn in pretty much all summer.

Started with this to experiment a bit,. Any sane person will prefer the one on the right. I really like how that one came out.

Here's Karel. Hate the hand, too lazy to fix.

Then I drew Borock just because. It was either him or PB, and I think we can all agree there's already plenty of PB

Don't really like how the mouth came out though, again, too lazy.

Really liked it when it was just the face, not so much when I finished it. Just posting it to get comments on how fix/improve it.

Next update will include plenty of Sam and Max.

Not really, I just made the hair on the back of his head more curved like with everyone else.

His right arm shouldn't be that stationary imo. Maybe if both arms are pulled back (like the left arm) it would look better.

Closed fist from which angle? well, the only advice I can give you is try to draw your own hand. That's what I do (though still sucks)

If there are easier way to draw one please tell me too.

That's the best I can do/copy. and this is one of the easier hand gesture to draw. It takes a while to get it right.

Alright, here goes closed fist practice/coloring (RUN TO YOUR END OF THE WORLD BUNKERS!)/crappy llightning and shading practice (what the last parentheses said).

It's supposed to be really dark or something, and yes, my beard is growing. I like to think this takes place after a long and hard training session or something >.>

Funfact: The socks are kinda modelled after the ones I actually use.

Lol, the beard is a nice touch.

The hand though looks good, the perspective is wrong. You can't spin your hand that way, unless you're very elastic.
