yeah, they announced during the Future of Final Fantasy thing this morning; same with FFXV.

also the Osaka team (the team behind BBS and 3D) is handling KH3.

Didn't expect it to be multi-plat. Willing to bet the PS4 version will be the most sought after, as the Xbone will fail and the previous numbered titles were on a Sony system.

Kingdom Hearts III will wrap up the "Xehanort saga"

But Nomura said he plans to make Sora the main character throughout the entire series.

Hmmm well, I just hope that they tie things up because the body possessions, clones, clones of clones, memories and the nobody dies can get really out of hand.

Yeah, everything from the past games will be tied up in KH3, since everything before now has been part of the Xehanort Saga. After KH3, everything will be wrapped up and the next saga will be a fresh start. I mean, it'll still star Sora, but everything else should be tied up neatly and addressed.

I am not sure if that is a good idea, the Keyblade Master/Apprentice thing sounds vaguely similar to the Jedi concept already. The marvel thing is gonna makes even worse....

I don't see why Disney would say no to it. Adding in the Star Wars and Marvel fandom would probably garner more interest. Hell, I'd consider playing it for that.

The English release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is today, at least in the U.S.
If anyone gets the english version (since I know a lot of people springed for the Japanese release months ago), can they say if it's worth interest or not?

The difficulty trophies don't stack it seems, meaning that you have to the game through at least three times if you want them all and since it's the same for Re:CoM, counting Reverse/Rebirth that makes it six playthroughs - a total of nine for the two games.

That's horrendous.

He actually suggested to search flea markets for the original versions of Kingdom Hearts and Re:Chain of Memories if you're new to the series.
Jesus Christ. I get that $40 may not be his idea of a good price, but this guy sounds really pompous over what was advertised and packaged as the equivalent of a slightly-modified HD collection (and movie) to begin with. Doesn't even touch on the fixes, the remastered music or anything. Even the comments are even repulsed by the poor quality of it.

How can you neglect the fact it's the Final Mix version of KH1 with new abilities, new weapons, new scenes, and a new Secret Boss with tweaks to the game's features like which abilities you get now depending on the weapon combinations and BETTER item rewards from Treasure Chests as oppose to the original?

Did the woman not do her research? And are the commentors just as bad?

EDIT: Fix'd... I didn't read the article so I wasn't aware it was a woman who wrote it. Sorry about that.
