Then, Houndoom's Crunch, Solarbeam, and Flamethrower started kicking tail, especially Crunch against the ever-feared Mewtwo and Mew.

So either you need another five ubers to make a team with, or the rest of your guys are basically pointless compared to your god tier ones, and you have to hope like hell your opponent either barely has any ubers or is much worse than you are, or you're basically screwed.

Just leaving the overpowered pokemon at home and playing OU seems a lot more fun to me bro.

If you're gonna call a pokemon useless because it has a counter, pretty much every pokemon ever is useless.

Mewtwo's banned from standard play anyway.

No, I'm calling Tyranitar useless against him, being that he's faster than him, has pretty high speed, attack, and special attack, and Aura Sphere kills him in a single blow.

Also, Pokemon Battle Revolution was really the only time I ever battled people who weren't friends, and I don't care who they use or not.

Oh no no. No no no no.  Tyranitar was actually pretty good against Mewtwo, before Aura Sphere.  It's just the 4X Damage that Aura Sphere does to Tyranitar just hurts him so much to really put up a fight against him now.

It's the same with Snorlax.  Snorlax was always in my Silver team.  He was my backbone.  Aura Sphere hurts him a lot too.  Damn DPP for improve Fighting Pokemon!

Update: Serebii's description sucks. No Guard only helps moves used by or against Machamp, his partner's accuracy stays exactly the same.

I just enjoy watching people go "WTF YOU CANT USE THAT IT'S BANNED" like having a Darkrai lay waste to their team by putting everyone to sleep, having Mewtwo wreck house, and Arceus that does whatever the hell it wants, Manaphy. I always have three legends on me at any given point of a mixed assortment with some others like my little Alakazam or Dunsparce (). Like I said, I pick pokemon I like, not "what's better according to some website on the internet."

So yes, watching tards cry that I'm not playing according to some arbitrary rule system like they have sand in their vaginas is pretty fun. Only reminds me how retarded the Internet's making online play.

Moving on to more important discussion, the new girl trainer looks quite dumb, IMO. Gold still looks ready to kick all sorts of ass though. That's all that matters. Also, details:

-Three new Wi-Fi minigames?
-Starter may not be the only Pokemon that follows you, Pokemon follow you even after the beginning of the game.
-The new Lugia art is AWESOME, new stock art for Ho-Oh, Wobbuffet, Chinchou, Sentret, Mareep, Gligar, Dunsparce, Hopip, Wooper, Delibird, Larvitar, Miltank, Blissey, Stantler, Phanpy, Remoraid, Octillery,Qwilfish, Slugma, Swinub, and Teddiursa
-New female playable character, NOT Crystal
-PokeGear has got a re-design, appears to have a camera
-Slowpoke Well and Sprout Tower return with new looks
-There is a skateboard?
-Confirmation of the different Pichus in game, are both part of an event in Ilex Forest
-September 11th Release Date
-Kanto return is hinted at (DUH)
-Wi-fi features expanded
-Cutscenes in new areas akin to FRLG.

I only have one little design complaint with Gold there... it's really nothing big, but I think it'd be a bit better if the bang stuck out from the hole in the cap, not from under it. Again, it's nothing really big.

I also wonder if this means places like the town around Lake of Rage will be back. Probably not, but it would be better than that Cut-requiring infested maze to visit Mr. Friday.
