Even if I would find a legally-caught shiny legendary (either on the field or from events), thanks to the ways of internets and hacking, people won't believe it to be a legally-caught shiny, because many hackers like to make legendary Pokemon shiny with cheating or tools, and they get called cheaters.

That's not a good thing for someone who actually catches Pokemon legally.

Not to mention the chances of even getting one is roughly 1 in 8000 anyway, I mean my friend tried to get a shinky Kyogre and gave up after the first day.

Yeaa, that's why I don't even bother with them shiny pokemon, being honest or not, your going to get told that you hacked, if you get a legit shiny, then its a bounus in my book.

I know that's where the Kanto league is, but I don't see a place where the Johto league might be.

They share the same Indigo Plateau, because both of the regions are basically linked together, making it one of the largest regions in the Pokemon series in my book.

I can't remember types for the life of me. Think about it. Ice is resistant is Grass, but I kept going at it with Solarbeam. Only reason your pokemon died was because I had EV trained mine Sp. Attack.

If you have only one people will admire you; it's when half your team is shiny that they start raising eyebrows.

Also, there's no legitimate way to "rig" a shiny legendary, so if by some chance you do manage to get one, the odds of it being of proper Nature/IVs are astronomically bad.  It'd be like going into battle with a Hidden Power Ice Raikou.

I'm sure the latter is easier to do legitimately these days because of RNG manipulating and how you can get legendaries to respawn now though.

Last battle was my Noctowl vs Red's Snorlax.
Noctowl's Fly cut Snorlax's HP to 1, Snorlax KO (2 KO really) Noctowl with Blizzard, and Hail KO Snorlax.

I'm just curious, what level were your Pokemon at? I'm still two badges away from being able to challenge Red in HG (I transferred all my Lv. 100s from DPPt to SS) But I'm working at getting my team up to Lv. 75 before I even think of challenging him.
