Last battle was my Noctowl vs Red's Snorlax.
Noctowl's Fly cut Snorlax's HP to 1, Snorlax KO (2 KO really) Noctowl with Blizzard, and Hail KO Snorlax.
Man, that was awesome.

Well, everyone with HG/SS can get a shiny Gyarados now. Imagine if you'd gotten a shiny Lugia or somethin' instead, that'd be pretty special. But hey, I guess two shiny Gyarados are better than one.

The IVs on it any good?

Well, shiny Magikarp does look a lot cooler than shiny Gyarados. Still seems kind of a waste though.

IVs don't look so good. Kinda difficult to tell with just level 9, but only 13 attack at best, and 26 speed. But what can y'do, huh? Still better than my 1 special attack modest Clamperl.

The full set is 16-26, 3-13, 13-23, 4-14, 16-26, 18-26, by the way. Special defence is either 26 or 21, if it's 21 no other stat will be higher. Can't get any more specific than that without knowing its stats at other levels. Though well you've probably calculated everything by yourself by now.

Never mind... it's not worth it. >.<

Even if I would find a legally-caught shiny legendary (either on the field or from events), thanks to the ways of internets and hacking, people won't believe it to be a legally-caught shiny, because many hackers like to make legendary Pokemon shiny with cheating or tools, and they get called cheaters.

That's not a good thing for someone who actually catches Pokemon legally.

There are ways to to find real ones. Best way to find out is the location and level. While some are easy to cheat, like Mewtwo or Latios/Latias, others like Dialga, Palkia, and to some extent Groudon, Kgroye, and Rayquazza at the Embedded Tower. The level it was found is also a good indicator.
