Excuse the bad title, I'm very tired, I've worked on this guys for quiet some time (mostly on the color scheme) and made this painstaking illustrations of the characters in 2 days (and they look a lot better in person. Feck you crappy scanner and my temporal limitations with MS Paint editing)
Anyhoo, here is the first of the three gropus of the finalized designs for the Bizarre Brawlers characters. All based upon the winning entries for each character (Urey Sorrow = B, Lily Jeil = C, Ktori Pong = C, Rotu Lightning = A & C [link])
Now to congratulate the winners whose suggestions were used for the final designs and how they effected the character (design wise)

In Urey's category, there were quiet a few suggestions used in this one, some altered the character a lot, some not as altering, and a few seemed to be pretty much the same suggestion of other contestants.
Best thing to do in this situation is pick the one who effected the design the most. Probelm is that there were a few that suggested the same things I used in the final design, and I really don't wanna let this people feel a bit cheated.
So I decided to choose the contestants gave the biggest impact for the design. And said contestants are:

Shade suggested two things; to give B, A's hair (which I didn't use) and for the character to use A's daggers. At first I wasn't planning to use daggers, rather two customized rapiers that looked like large pins.
It wasn't until later that I remembered that Urey's special ability consisted of him stabbing certain points on/in his body. Trying to puncture oneself in the heat of battle with a long weapon like a rapier would not only look awkward, but you'd loose precious time in a fight trying to turn the weapon towards yourself.
So I changed the weapons to small daggers, but kept the pin look.
*Sniper X*
Sniper suggested a lot of things, I won't write them all down cause I still have a lot to write down after this. The suggestions that impacted the design the most would be to make him look more like a ragdoll (I read that as "give him more stitches), mix B and C's jackets (And I made a few minr alterations as well) and last but not least to make his weapons thinner and sharper (aka. make them look more like pins).
I couldn't make the too thin though because he needs a sturdy weapon for blocking attacks. Though I did make the tip sharper then it's predescesors.
She also suggested to use stitches on his eyes, feeling like that that would kinda make him look less like a protagonist I insted put a button on the "smiley" on his sweater. Also changed the belts on his boots to large X shapped stitches.

Why so many contestants for one suggestion? Because they all relate to the same thing...Urey's hair. They all said to use C's hair style. And you know what!?...I love you them all for thinking the same thing.
To be honest, I was going to use C's hair for the final design, regardless of suggestions or vote. Why you ask? Well, A's hair was just the generic emo haircut, which would kinda feel odd on a character who'se based on a voodoo doll, and B...I just hated B's hair with a passion. I regret making such horrible hair.
Though to be honest i'm not sure if I should reward the guys suggesting something that I was planning to do anyway...eh, I'll let it slide this time. Though no breaks for the next 2 rounds!
And with that said, I might as well reward

Who suggested to use C's using the sweater and the button belt, respectively, for the final design. Again, was planning to do so anyway, but if I'm rewarding the one's who suggested the hair thing, it would just be fair to let them be rewarded fo their suggestions too.

In Lily's category, the winners is:

For suggesting to give Lily blueskin to show that she was a water based demon, and so I can still keep the red, yellow-ish and black clothing. (Of course I had to make the dress looks a bit more aquatic as well, so it would be obvious she was a water based fighter).
Sniper X also suggested to make Lily's clothes purple [red(demon) + blue (water) = purple) I tried it, though it dind't really click with me. I did ended up using it for her pants though. (mostly due to a new color limit rule I gave myself)

Ktori Pong also has two winners.

Who suggested using B's paddle top insignia (which is badass, though I had to make the thing black so the design could work with the limitations I gave myself).
And *Cobalt*
Who suggested to make Ktori wear paddles on his arms as armlets. Now i did try that before with one of his previous designs...though I made the mistake of using an actual paddle and it didn't work for me. So I tried making the paddle into a wierd armlet...and I really liked it.
Aside from that, Ktori didn't really get that much of a facelift compared to the others.
I would also like to give an honorable mention to Borockman, who's comment about Ktori C's colorscheme being a perfect representation for ping-pong made me decide to stick with, and stay true to the concept of the design .

As for Rotu's category...considering that most of of the suggestions were give C's X item to A and vice versa, and the fact that both of those entries won the votes, I believe that makes the suggestions null and void.
Not only that but most, if not all of the design choices for Rotu were made by me.
...I should give at least one person the reward for this category. And considering that Cobalt, who suggested to use B's scarf (and I did...color wise), has already gotten a prize, And Sniper X, who suggested to make the scarf look a bit more mechanical also won the last few entries, the winner for Rotu design suggestion is:

Because the other ones are pretty much the same contestents that already won.

So to recap, the winners for the FoD round 1 contest are; ShadeDarkness, Sniper X, Lostboy92, Borockman, Cobalt, Chacete, VGConcador and Yarrot. 8 out of 19, a bit too generous on my part methinks.
The winners shall be credited in the Bizarre Brawlers Project, and have the choice to have a character of their creation appear in said project.
I hope you have all enjoyed this process of character creation and hope to see more of you in the other 2 rounds. Those who have won may continue to cast their vote on their favorite designs but they cannot give enter the mini-contest to win again. (Cause that would be greedy).
