Guardian ZX pic, made in Okekai.Posted on: December 07, 2008, 08:59:31 PM
This comic is a filler for the main story. (Aside from the hidden Bob and George joke within this comic, credit to the ZXA rip project at Sprites Inc and the vent rip, and SovietCommando for how the shoulderpads in the ZX style how it's done in his PD page.) The GM mugs are ugleh, but will do for now. (the sprites are to represent the red GMs, the blue ones are commandoes) Posted on: December 07, 2008, 11:57:10 PM
Careful vent, Zakus have been spotted! It's an old sheet, mind you.

The red one's kind of... bright. I like the green one, though.

Good news everyone! If you liked General Greivous in the 8-bitty MM style, you'll love this! More SW/MM goodness in 8-bit! And quite possibly a hack called Star Wars Star Wars! (If I figure out how to change stuff/hack a little) Posted on: December 13, 2008, 08:58:00 PM
Here we are, just as promised! The Droid Army's ready to give Wily's own army a run for their money!

It's not likely finished, you see, I'd like to get the whole Droid Army done, so I may need good references of the Supers and the fighters, along with Grievous' own guards. however, I need a decent reference, most likely in areas with a good lightsource. (not too dark, and not too light)

Watch your palette carefully, the outline switches to pure black on the lower half of the body. And you have one empty entry left to use as you please.

Actually, I took the pallete from one of these sheets here. However, I will keep that in mind. I also edited the post so I can avoid being a theif. I extracted them from the very sprites as well.

The issue isn't where you took the palette from, it's about you suddenly switching to a color not included in the palette in the lower half of the body. Look closely at it, pure black is suddenly used as an outline.

The curled-up Destroyer is a little jagged, but the rest is very nice. Great work.

I know, I was imitating the Spin Dash of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. I might go correct it later. The Super Battle Droid gave me trouble, since he was, compared to the other Battle Droids, a little taller, so I had to S.D. it. The second frame of the Destroyer is it's standing pose.

Interesting, the Supers look pretty good for the limitations on size and pixels, so good job.

Screenshot Mockup. I obviously guessed that during the period when Wily goes into hiding, some terms of events happens, which is why I may have thought of a SW/RM crossover game idea. Of course, since logically both sides ignore droids in the actual storyline of Clone Wars/Episodes 1, 2, and, 3, they ignore Auto and go for the human scientist and that's when things spiral out of control.

CLONE TROOPERS DEPLOY! I have decided to make clone troopers, to go with the Droid Army sheet. Includes both colors of the ARC variant.

Possible ending, as Greivous is single handedly defeated by Megaman..? (Dr Wily being the final boss)
