he didn't say that. he said his friend had to not sign in to PSN. but you can stay online, and not have people interrupt you in Arcade.

Very much so. I have no problem with skillful use of a character, but when they resort to only really broken and lame tactics and then run into someone and run away at the first sign of a possible defeat, that's just retarded. It's like people are afraid of getting a few losses on their cards. There's no honor in fighting when someone disconnects because they're not winning... it's really childish.

Happens quite a lot in Mario Kart, Starforce 2... hell, any online game. It's pitiful.

M'kay, got to play the game yesterday. Unlocked Akuma and Gouken on my friend's game (Gouken was a royal pain in the ass), and Seth is [tornado fang]ing annoying. Thoroughly owning his ass with Cammy was easy enough though, even in Hard. Played with almost all characters. This game is [tornado fang]ing godly.

How does the 3D style of it compare to the sprite based style? Any intricacies to get used to between the two or did Capcom do a good job at adapting it to the 2.5D style?

gameplay is flawless and strictly 2D. the 3D graphics are really fluid. the only iffy thing about it is the Hulk syndrome, which i've gotten over. except in the case of Rose. she just doesn't look right in 3D.

Like Sato said, the game is basically just a pure 2D game, merely utilizing 3D graphics.

Between Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and this game, it's plain to see that Capcom has made sure that the 2D gameplay, that people wanted to see, is intact.

Oh, I've been wondering how Street Fighter 4 looks and plays. Although I'm not too good at fighting games, Soul Caliber 4 and Street Fighter have been on my mind lately.

I just hope my lappy-chan can take it. It took New Prince Of Persia (at lowest settings, admittedly, but took it) and let me finish it. I hope it can also handle SF4. I can't [tornado fang]ing wait to fight some of you guys online, assuming my shitty connection will not lag me too much. >_>

Am I the only one who thinks the extra shaders don't look like real extra content? It gives me the impression they were just toying with the shader parameters and found some settings that made the game look funny, so they added them in.
