Also, something I heard somebody say in regards to Hakan's bright-rededness: Real Turkish oil wrestlers use olive oil. Wrestling outside often while oiled up with olive oil likely literally cooked his skin red.

No idea why his hair/thing is green-blue, though.

Since the game has been leaked out (yup, you read correctly) and those who were fortunate enough to have it and or play it, (like myself) I figured it's time for an official thread for it. Discuss strategies, story, set up matches, share videos here, etc.

Oh for those curious, the game feels more or less the same just some frames have changed as well as the move properties.

Picked up my copy today about 1 (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

Been playing it nonstop and my controller died. Loving it so far. Some characters didn't make the transition too well (though I can't really comment on a couple). Cody, especially, transitioned very strangely. Not bad, really, but he doesn't feel like himself anymore. His crack kick especially feels nerfed from what it was in Alpha. Next to no forward movement on it at all, and it used to be one of his best moves.
Makoto is who I've been playing the most of so far. She's definitely still the rushdown queen she was in third strike, though her dash punches are a bit slower out of the box, and her grab and choke doesn't combo after it (though I could never do it in third strike, myself, apparently it was possible).
She seems like she has a hell of a potential for comebacks this time around. I've managed to turn matches around with a single choke grab. It's awesome.

I have to agree completely on Cody. That kick was one of his best moves in Alpha3. Cody didn't really seem like a top tier character to begin with in Alpha3, so I see no reason why they dumbed that move down. His 3 angled kick move seems a little better in super than I remember in Alpha 3. Can't wait till Cody's alternate costume is downloadable.

Makoto I can't do jack with in super. I use to be moderately good with her in 3rd.

Dudley is awesome. Rolling Thunder!

I'm surprised, I actually am pretty good with Juri. I was able to beat Hardest easier than some I considered my best. I'm still hell rusty though, or having a bad fighting day. I was really sucking online compared to when I last played 4.

Just got it for the 360. I'm kind of bummed that the "bonus" for keeping the same version of SIV is an extra color. But what's cool is the fact that the downloadable content from the first version transfers over to SSFIV. I might just get the extra costumes when I get the points.

...Although I do have this to say about the game: I've forgotten how much Medium Seth pisses me off.

She's still pretty good overall, actually. Just a lot of her set ups for karakusa, etc, have changed from third strike.

My brother got Super4. So far, i'm still just as pleased w/ Sakura; her having Shinkuu Hadoken made a nice difference~

Juri is also rather fun to use, I like her.
