Well, it's that time of the year again. A time of massive stress while at the same time massive cheer. This portion of the year is just one giant cluster [tornado fang] of emotions, driving to see relatives and going from store to store emptying your wallets to the point where your wallets no longer have bottoms so any money you put into them just falls right out. It is also a time of gorging yourselves both with food and things you don't really need but want anyways. I'll admit that I have my fair share of goodies I don't need for survival and enough food to feed three of me for week. For some, it is also the time of the year of lying in bed; far too sick to actually do any of the above. Right now I'm feeling a cold coming on and it has me concerned.
I of course speak of the holiday season, consisting mostly of Christmas and Thanksgiving.
...But that is not what I'm writing about this specific moment.
I'm sure you've noticed by now that the RPM Awards topic is in full swing, with categories and people voting. It's also complete with signatures on the fourms being dominated by banners made to tempt people to vote a certain way (PB, I'm looking at you). That being said some people don't need to try that hard to win awards and they just come to them naturally.
Now here's where I finally stop rambling and get to the point.
The main reason I've written this is to ask all four of you who read my topic to vote for me for the "Best Writer" category. Feel free to vote for me for anything else if you want, but that's the main category that I would like to see votes for me go towards.
The best part of all of this is that since I'm mainly a writer I can post this as content and somewhat get away with it.
...But just so I don't get in trouble with the mods I might as well make some announcements.
First of is that I'm working with a few friends on a Pokemon comic. I'm not sure when the first page will be done/uploaded since the idea came about yesterday, but pretty soon I'll be posting Pokemon comics that I've taken part in writing in the topic.
Now for something else, mostly regarding the holidays.
From December 20th to sometime in January I'll will be traveling to Boston for a week, then if I recall correctly to New Hampshire for another week. Now from what I hear both of these areas will be pretty cold, so I'll be freezing my ass off.
However, if you happen to be in the area and see a bored young man walking with a large group of adults and a little girl feel free to wave. I don't promise that I'll see it, but it's the thought that counts, right?
That being said, I do plan on doing an RPG Adventures Christmas Special before I leave.
