Which makes sense, Wily going in design complexity order from Bass to Mr. Booblights.

>half a billion dollars

SMALL PRICE TO PAY FOR A VERY WELL DONE COWBOY BEBOP LIVE ACTION MOVIE.

One of the few series that could get away with being live action.
I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it.

I don't run homebrew, but I don't care.

I'm not updating, because I don't want my Wii bricked.

DECAPITATIOOOOOOOOON!

Ozzy BGM?!

COMPLETELY AWESOME!!!

People are mistaking 'combat depth' and 'ease of control', though.
Same people that like 2D Fighters' String Inputs.

Not that simple, just X1 complex.

Not X6 or ZX complex.

Gaming / Best Video Game music composer?
« on: October 03, 2009, 05:52:15 AM »
So, who's the best composer?

And I left out Jun Ishikawa (Kirby) and Jun Senoue (new Sonic), because their best songs are only in one style in their respective series.
Feel free to vote anyone, though.

Ippo's in there because there may be the same construction, but Ippo can still utilize different genres, tempos, and atmospheres, not to mention a great lack of Mega Man NES song-specific composer credit.

EDIT: Personal shout out to Makoto Tomozawa for Mega Man X, but at the end of the day, I'm going to have to give my vote to Kondo. Uematsu has FF7, and that's a whole lotta points, but Kondo speaks music as a second-language, not just matching moods to music.

"If Wily's RM's had a gangsign, it'd be the left hand ring and index fingers extended. Same W as Doc Wily's logo. Also I think I'm hearing similar melodies between Slashman and Quickman's stages."

gallon of skim milk
Mint Oreos
Halloween bowl and candy

Sorry, kids; Mario's partying in another castle for Halloween. Take some candy, though!

Cripes, that reminds me, someone gave me a Luigi stache; I need to find a green, non-dome cap and long sleeve shirt!

EDIT: I bought the Anime Legends Cowboy Bebop set.
Why?

If you're going to do any kind of Retrostyle for MMX, 16-Bit, where the series' best games were.

But X9 should be in modern graphics, simple as that.

EXE1 with 2-6 combat changes will be much better. And with a map and 2 Megamen, this game might have some replay value.

Although 2 was the only BN paced-enough to warrant a second replay. 3 JUST DRAGS ON AND ON, what with backtracking and the Fire/Aqua chip-using puzzles.

Yeah, ancestor, at this point.

X was the father of the first-generation of Reploids, count down from there.

Humans have been "creating" souls in other humans since the dawn of the species. If some spiritual element is responsible for the souls in every human being despite the fact that other humans are the ones physically conceiving and producing other humans, then that same spiritual force can be behind inducting souls in robotic life.

Granted that both are Divinely-approved (if that applies) methods of soul...creation, recycling, however you view it.

Played Mega Man, Mega Man 4, Mega Man V, and Mega Man 7 as a kid. Didn't really think anything of it.

Years later, I get introduced to Mega Man X1.
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY

So then I'm playing all the MMX's I can find, buying a copy of MM1 off eBay, next thing you know, I'm hooked. Bought Mega Man X5 in Washington D.C. for the bro that introduced me to MMX1 (both our jaws dropped when we heard Bubble Crab's stage theme again), and I've been a big fan since. And between Black Hole creation, Absolute Zero weaponry, in addition to Time Control skills, that these Reploids might very well be the deadliest forces in all of superhero fiction.

799
So then humans can "play God" and create souls? For Reploids?

I really doubt that, but it is possible in that universe's canon. Even so, it makes sense, then, that the human race was destroyed by its own creations for doing so.
