Kinda strange that Zero's triple slash changed from X5 to X6 like that. And not just a little, man:

X5: Forward Slash, Pivoting Horizontal Slash, Full Forward Slash
X6: Forward Slash, Broad Forward Slash, Up Slash

That upward slash helps with gameplay (see: MMZ), but it's awful sudden.

Just give Zero Axl's guns and let's have Dante and Zero duke it out, already!

Or give MMZ Zero one more gun.
I REFUSE to call detachable guns "busters"!
Bad American boxart be darned!

I've had mine pre-ordered for a while, now. I also pre-ordered Galaxy 2 and M&L3 that same time.

I'll get my money's worth, but I can just hear those $150 disappearing like Coins out of a Question Block. ;_;

And if it is Mario All-Stars DS, well, that doesn't make up for the VC's, but it helps. Enough to keep me from buying a GBA, anyway. I don't think that's it, though, I mean, they'd just reuse sound clips.

'Crazy fun', I'm betting it's a spinoff.

Peach floats using MAAAAAAGIC; couldn't it also keep her skirt in place?

Man proposes to his wife..."Super Mario World," style.

Cute proposal.

2 six-packs of Mike's Hard Mango Punch
Final Fantasy Chronicles (FF4 and CT, PSX) (used)
The Godfather 1, 2, and 3 Blu-Ray (used)

Use Mike's Hard Mango Punch next time you make Mango Lemonade! It seriously rocks!

Good thing this isn't Wi-Fi...

Hokuto No Bully here would keep us from EVER finishing a game!

What do you people want from those voices? They are good.
Well, maybe I'm just used to them, because I watched a lot of TMNT 2003.

Still, I see the dimension of original turtles is as whacky as ever.

'87 Leo is completely wrong.

And I don't remember mutant bananas and bowling balls... XD

Much better than the X8 helmet.

"Do you work at a car wash in this dimension...?"

Dan Green as old Leo? Seriously? And yeah, old April did seem more stacked than I remember.

Nah, she was always that stacked, and her voice was ultra-hot.

Eh, to me, it's no different from how we had both a leaf that gave Mario 'coon ears and tail, and fursuit that gave similar abilities, plus the nifty thing of turning into a statue, back in Mario 3.  8D

Point taken, but at least that had a general use.

These are both Ice-related. Weird.

Funny how we get the Ice Flower AND a Penguin Suit.

Let's see, Koopa shell, Boo Mushroom, Lakitu cloud, Kuribo's shoe...
Raccoon, Frog, Tanooki, and Penguin suits...

...

Bob-Omb and Cat suits.

Now as far as favorite Mario game, that really is a hard question because they are all A games, each with their own ups and downs. Now if anything is fair game, Super Mario RPG, but if it's platformers only...

I'm going to go with Super Mario Galaxy, although World is the "best".

Cyborg?

Or it powers the suit, and thus allows him to fight a little longer.

The human characters could still use it if you used Metal Gear logic. You know,

« on: October 16, 2009, 08:11:47 AM »
I think this game is doing a good job of commercially presenting the early concepts of this game. If it stayed true to the concept art, even for fans of the art style, there just wouldn't be much of a buying audience because the focus is solely on the art.

And not the story and gameplay.
Which is what this all adds.
And it's really freakin' awesome.

It looks to be a special title screen of some sort.

There you go, folks. Warm up your thumbs with some Mario 1-3 and World, for a new challenge awaits.

Call me when it's playable Peach and/or Rosalina!

And I'd be warming up with NSMB, I'd think. Gets you used to how Nintendo hides stuff now, graphically speaking.
Like that first fortress where you need the Blue Shell, or that one coin that you would have to know where there was a pipe.

I hope it's still good. The lack of difficuly doesn't bother me in the least, but a lot of pirates are saying that the RTS elements including visual cluster[hard knuckle]s really cramp the gameplay.

Maybe there should be a more 1P/Eddie-centric sequel.

Thoughts?

I say it's damage control. Couldn't we have just had more, y'know, action?

that and MVC 1+2.

And that's what was throwing me off track until I saw how many decade+ old characters were in this thing.

Young whippersnappers! Back in my day, Lemmy's balls would have killed you, not bounced you around!

Of course, now there's pits and an ice floor to deal with, so ARGH.

Easy solution, though; don't run under each ball, jump OVER each ball at the lowest point of their bounce.
