Sometimes it does.  Also, I have the belief that there are things in life worse than death.

This is true. A morbid truth, but it's still true.

Same reason Roy, Mewtwo, Dixie kong, etc are all in brawl data without a character slot, they ran out of time... ;_;

I wonder how different Brawl would have been with all the characters they wanted in it?

Sonic would still suck.

Really. That's it. Now Dr. Mario...different story.

Pussy.

O RLY

Then why did Pichu get axed?

I was afraid the batteries on my Wavebird were going to give out.

Nope, nothin' doin'.

Pichu, used by myself 8D

Deary, you seem to have missed the part of the topic title where it said
(Brawl)
 8D

But yeah, doing the stuff I do as Pikachu, I can see where a faster version of that (especially with items, man oh man) could have been deadly. Still, damaging yourself? Ew.

Oh man, this all reminds me, my card game!
Uhhhhh...mmm...yeah, I can take snapshots but I don't have the time!
*sees it's Christmas*
...or...do I?

The first is meteor failures over a pit. XD

As for the taunt, you know it was all in good fun. Still though, the running up smashes are an interesting approach.

And see, this is what kills me. I can pull those off constantly against CPUs, but not in practice.
For this reason, Falco has got to go. I think.
Who will he be replaced by, I dunno. Again, Fox, Pit, and Pikachu all present very valid choices, and I'm kinda liking the James McCloud outfit idea.

Yeah yeah, I'm kiddin' around with ya.

I've known about the running up-smash for a long time. Apparently, the SSBB team did too; look at Wolf's Dash Attack, that's Fox and Falco's up-smash.

Fortunately, I never had too many problems with any of that.

But that's because I knew the rules, respected them, and also respected the hard work my mom and dad did to keep me fed, roof over my head, etc. If you ever watch an episode of Supernanny, it's almost always "Make a schedule, create a time-out area, done".

Physical discipline is reserved for the very rare occasions wherein:
1) You're trying to prevent a very grave harm from happening to your kid, but it's probably going to happen anyway, and experience is the best teacher
or
2) Your child has tossed aside his/her values, ethics, and morals, in which case, severe lapses must be met with severe consequences.

But it's not just kids. Drivers, business leaders, many, many people get away with inappropriate behaviors. Eventually, the pendulum will swing back to where the public is decent once more, but in the meantime, it's wise to be wary.

Now for those who prefer the air tl;dr version:

BE A LAX PARENT
~ADVICE DOG~
BEAT YOUR KIDS

You know what, I can take you. Pikachu is a character I don't fight often, but damn if I didn't get close, barring a Meteor Smash failure as Marth. XD

Uh huh. You remember that the next time I nail you with Headbutt after you just pulled off a Counter. :P

Anyway, all these battles are...eh...near-nil considering that the outcomes would be different if it weren't for the lag. Sure, I'm doing great, now, but could I be doing better (or worse) with some faster movement?

Akamaru, you should definitely notice on the match on Smashville how many clear shots you got. That's the result of Dodge-Rolling not responding, even though I had plenty of time.
But then there's Pit's Up+A Smash and Pikachu's Down+A Smash which I get almost every time thanks to the lag.
Kinda weird, that way.

Also, I owo Sudden Death.

Funny,

When I brawl Jelly 1-on-1, no lag.
When I brawl Aka 1-on-1, no lag.
When we 3 brawl, LAAAAAAAG.

idk where you two live, but it must be a large distance. That, or we're all far enough away that it starts causing problems.

Also, gotta go, Auditing finals.

There was no way I was going to win that Sudden Death... Fox > Ness

I thought for sure you were going to do a Dash Attack, and that it'd be all over.
...guess not! Woohoo, running UpSmash!

Anyway, good games, you guys! I'm starting to like Fox more and more, gotta start learning Pikachu; I'm onto something, here.

2111
Eeeee, thank you!

Yeah, I just did a +2 victory against Akamaru and Jericho with Pikachu; I tell ya, that tiny mouse has the K.O. power you need in this game.

I'm also building up Fox and Pit.

If you're referring to that poll, it's waaaaay too late.

Otherwise, yeah, I guess I could use a break from Auditing exam cramming.

I don't know, but I'd LOVE to see Vixy play Kirby, a character I know is good in the right hands.

These days, typically, no.

Guitar Hero: World Tour, you BET I used the unlock all songs in Quickplay cheat. Career Mode and the overall tracklist stink.

Used the GameShark on the Battle Network games (thank you Hankchill) to get certain Styles or get all those chips that would be a real time-waster to get. Same for P.A.s.

TMNT2 and Sonic 2 GG were definite candidates for cheats, though.

nPOT REALLY A FEMBOT,

Not really a Fembot, not female at all really, but it deserves mention.

I say Pit, but damn if you aren't annoying with him. Not like I'm not but... 8D

Still for all intents and purposes, good matches. It's a shame that delay lag got me so many times in that last Marth vs. Pit though. That match was looking pretty even.

You're just mad because he reflects everything and has power and speed to boot. XD

Posted on: December 12, 2008, 09:40:21 PM
Keep in mind though that you have to return to the ground often and Pit is lightweight. One good Up Smash by Marth can get rid of him earlier than you'd like. If I had to give you a freebie tip, you should try to play more mind games, then he'll be unstoppable to most Marths.

Precisely, I can't choose. Kinda depends on the situation.

Ohhh, you should have been there for a couple of mine and Akamaru's matches. Hoo. And the random item spawning, it's like MM5 Wily all over again!

Well as Falco, I was on the ground a lot (for a Falco), so no problems there. And yeah, I thought I was juuuuust outside of Marth's reach on that second K.O. of mine. ...not. He's like a faster and further reaching Snake. Has he been buffed since Melee?
And mind games; how do you think I won? XD Seriously, though, Pit's alright, but you've gotta do more than mindgames, or you'll just get the most number of hits, and not necessarily the killing blows.

Fox... Anybody can win with PIt.

Same could be said for Sakurai's toy-boy, Marth.
Who, by the way, is countered fairly nicely by Pit! Just use grabs, and stay the heck out of his way during mid-air attacks.

Hmmm, too hard to tell. Can't decide. But I do like the prospect of playing as Fox McCloud in the James McCloud outfit.

Okay, well, I think I'm pretty much done with Falco after tonight.

So. Pit? Or Fox?
Akamaru, Jericho, what do you think?

Dadgumit, stupid connection.

Try again on that Falco match.

...just forget it and let me figure out what the heck is going on here.
Anyone know what error 20100 is?.

Why do I hate items, you ask?
You'd have seen why.

Yep, need to test out a new potential character, too.

EDIT: YAAAAAHOOOO! PIT ROCKS!
Falco...what?
Did better with Fox than I did Falco.

Zero's X4 theme.

Catchy though it is, I have a hard time trying to place it above Zero's X1 theme.

Unless Capcom makes a theme more along the lines of "Oh, by the way, this great hero and your best friend is your worst enemy's greatest creation."

Meaning the theme would have to have some Wily stage or boss influences.
