Good points. Then again, I could throw a huge curve ball and say that Sonic CD's Boss Theme is Eggman. But that's the black in me talking. 8D

Huh....I didn't think about those.

...hang on, I'll listen to both the JP and US versions. Brb.

JP:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms6bXVC5mdc&amp;feature=related" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms6bXVC5mdc&amp;feature=related</a>

Well, now, that does fit his love of "speeches". Kinda all over the road, but it did tap into the speech and chaotic aspects of his identity.

US:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8cSOUz0Fv8&amp;feature=related" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8cSOUz0Fv8&amp;feature=related</a>

Okay, if Robotnik were a Terminator? No prob. As is? No.

I dunno, I think it's a dead tie between Sonic 1's Boss theme and Sonic 3/Sonic & Knuckles Act 2 Boss for ol' Eggy.

I had to think about those:

Sonic 1 Boss:
~Ehh, too slow. Sure, it's menacing, but let's face it, Robotnik hasn't been that menacing in a long time. Also has a nice "evil genius" touch to it, but Sonic 2 Boss does a better job of matching the "crazy" part of it.

Sonic 3/Knuckles Boss:
~
Now while I have heard some pretty sick remixes of this song
, the original just has a bit too much echo and lasts a bit too long. Robotnik's a "HERE AND NOW" kinda guy.

I'm a lot better at that than I used to be.

Comes in handy for college.

Sonic 2 boss them will ALWAYS represent Eggman. I mean lyric'd music though. its not just the music that counts, but if the lyrics fit the character as well.
(also, Added the 2 from CD)

*thinks about it for a sec*

So what we need is for Sonic Team to redo the Sonic 2 Boss Music, add lyrics, and make it Robotnik's theme!

Excuse me, but lack of Sonic Boom or You Can Do Anything from Sonic CD US & JPN is downright inexcusable!

Sonic Boom, hands down.

Yeah, I thought that was odd, too. Flame only listed new songs.

Old songs, yeah, Sonic Boom is spot on.
And Robotnik is well represented with the Sonic 2 GEN Boss Theme.

Did you know that when Hackers opened up Sonic 06 they found "In game" Super Sonic data? as in, there was Data hidden in the game for Super sonic in regular Levels. Because it would Seem that The developers had thought of maybe implementing playable Super Sonic again.
But they didnt. :(

*sigh* Yeah, I know about the Super Gem.

Not that it would've set well with Sonic '06, though, glitchy as it is.

Sonic:
Probably Live and Learn. Everything else is either too serious or gimmicky so that it fits with its game.

Shadow:
I Am All of Me worked very well. Though he needs that "upgrade" I was talking about earlier, and he'd need a new, more sagely theme.

Robotnik:
E.G.G.M.A.N. Because nothing says "I'm pimp" like having a master plan.

Amy Rose:
My Sweet Passion. Fits her...uh...personality. Perfectly.

Well, let's see:

Makes:

- Customization: Yeah, you think Starfox 64 was good? Imagine if you could customize your ship to SFCommand levels.
(Main reference: F-Zero GX, Custom Robo, it's an element in most RPGs)

- Pacing: Nothing like grabbing a quick star or speeding through a stage to get you addicted.
(Main reference: Super Mario 64, Sonic Adventure 1, Kirby Superstar)

- Secret Bosses: And this is the sure-fire way to ens
(Main reference: Kingdom Hearts 1, Megaman ZX, Megaman Battle Network series)

Kills:

- Cheap Deaths: Nothing says "Hey, stop playing me" like needless spikes or some surprise you couldn't have known about.
(Main reference: Super Mario Bros. 2 JP, MMZ2)

- Overly Random: It's one thing to mix up the gameplay; it's another to not think it through.
(Main reference: Mega Man 1 Helipads, Randomly-generated dungeon crawlers)

- Chase segments: It's just a mood-killer, especially when you WERE having fun exploring.
(Main reference: Sonic 3 and Knuckles)

Is the GC version supposed to not be glitchy? I never ran into any. I'm weird when it comes to the Sonic 3D games, the camera never bothers me and I never encounter glitches.

It's only slightly less glitchy.

...which means you'll only curse it about half the time you normally would.

man, everything about SA1 is glitchy.

Well, not everything, but yeah.

I know this. If you ever try to jump and/or do anything fun in the third part of Windy Valley, something off of the game's preset camera angles and running paths, consider yourself minus one life.

playable metal sonic was fun :3

Then he got to hovering, and it feels like they're taunting us with a lack of playable Super Sonic. ;_;

And mayhaps the reason is that people are more fun than I am on big game discussion topics. *mind feels blank*

Sounds like we need the patented Kirby workout! The only workout with enough cute to bring down a castle!

I feel a bit "not so lovable" today... dunno why. o.o

Awww, you too?

Not that I'm "lovable", per se, but my charm is definitely on vacation.
I think it's 'cause I feel fat thanks to Christmas food.

Well, hey, that's what crunches and 16 episodes of Tenchi Universe are for (...and I haven't finished Cowboy Bebop, either).

You, my friend, just opened one hell of a pandora's box:
< or = Windy Valley or Speed Highway< or =  Metal Harbor or Cannon's Core, < Final Rush< or = Rail Canyon, Bullet Station, or Final Fortress
As a side-note, no I didn't think much of Heroes, it's just that the first stage of it didn't really jump out at me as much as other games.< Last Way
I could probably think up more if the 10 replays being necessary to clear the game didn't utterly destroy my interest in replaying anything BUT Last Story afterwards.Didn't play it, so you got me on that one.< or = Evil Foundry or Pirate Storm

Suuure I did.

Windy Valley and Speed Highway are =. Too glitchy.

Actually, I was thinking of the forest stages. Final Rush? Yeah. Right.

Rail Canyon, Bullet Station, or Final Fortress = RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAILS.

Last Way. ...eh, maybe I'd have enjoyed it more if I weren't absolutely sick of the game by that point.

Still stands.
