Gaming / Re: Nintendo Patent Reveals Potential Paradigm Shift in Design
« on: January 09, 2009, 08:39:10 PM »
Where was this when I had Final Fantasy IX?! I got so bored of Disc 3, I stopped playing.

Mario Kart DS; watched vids to learn how to Snake.
Mega Man 9; watched speed runs, and now my latest score on Special stage is 02:36:78.
Mario Kart Wii; how on Earth did these guys get some of these times? This'll show it.

And I'm sure this is useful for other games, as well. I know Super Mario Galaxy has a few Purple Coins that the average person would probably never find (or not have the patience to find).

Anyway, this is optional, so no loss.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the 3 weeks bit. I figure Wily would be impatient, so much so as to even try and fight X with an incomplete Sigma.

But X6's final battles did have a great feel to it.

I'll bet Robin Williams has watched Princess Mononoke.

If he hasn't, he probably would; the "environmental" thing would be straight up his alley.

Oh, I HAVE to be in this one.

HyperSonic.EXE
Character: Sonic
Why?: Really, who else would I be? Falco? When I'm already an offshoot of Sonic?

Moveset:
Up + B: Teleport - Works like Mewtwo's old Teleport, looks digitalized and stuff.
Down + B: Lightspeed Spindash - A faster and higher priority version of Sonic's Spin Dash.
Side + B: Ultrasonic Attack - Doesn't flinch, doesn't launch, but deals 3% damage to everyone else and "attacks" items.
Regular B: Homing Attack - Same as Sonic's.
Final Smash: Full Power - No holds barred; same as Super Sonic, only far faster and more out of control, but it's an instant K.O. if I tag ya.

Oh yeah, Ice Cream Snickers.

But I'm eating, like, 3 individual pieces of Frosted Mini Wheats. I just finished working out, and wanted to get a little fiber in, edgewise.

That would've been nice if Wily had possessed Sigma for the first fight, trying to communicate with X and Zero, but the syntax was messed up due to data format mess-ups (or however you'd explain Wily saying JUS DIE XXX).

That may depend on how you define zombies, though.

True, if they're reanimated by sorcery, now that's one thing.
But as far as an empty host body being reanimated, the body's support structure is severely damaged and wouldn't be capable of movement, much less a whole host of bodily functions.

What Dissidia didn't have, however, were Culex and Geno.

Really, what is SE going to do with Geno, anyway?
And what's stopping Nintendo from making a replacement for him? I mean the Star Guardian's gotta pick a new body, anyway.

We had one match =p I killed myself in the beginning and  then again when I hit up b and got the nikita missle, plus you got all the AT and Pokeballs =p how does that make falco > Snake.

Just ribbin' ya. :P

Actually, I did have pretty good item luck. That's a lot like how Hypershell was trouncin' a couple of us the other day.

Remind me and we'll try a no items match on Battlefield or Smashville, sometime, but right now, I've gotta go exercise.

I would say that if you had a Reflector like I do, you wouldn't have to worry about that, but that's clearly not the case with online lag.
