Gaming / Re: How Much Will You Spend on Gaming This Year?
« on: February 08, 2009, 09:15:35 PM »
Avalon Code
Sin and Punishment 2
Wii Game 1 (trying to get Platinum Club Nintendo)
Wii Game 2 (trying to get Platinum Club Nintendo)
Mario and Luigi 3: Bruise Brothers (my own subtitle)
Guitar Hero: Metallica
TMNT: Smash Up

And that's probably it. This doesn't take into account games I will trade-in, so this probably winds down to $300.

Roll is a housekeeping robot for Dr. Light, correct?

Then under MM9 laws, when Dr. Light kicks the bucket, Roll will be scheduled for termination since her housekeeping duties are done. Rock, originally being a housekeeping bot as well, would have the same circumstances.

But they could be reassigned to new human employers. And this doesn't explain how at the end of MM9, the 8 RMs were allowed to live. And Bass? He's a destructive pain in the rear and a combat robot. Does he have an expiration date? In an ironic twist of fate, since he was created to destroy Rock, does that mean he's scheduled for termination the day Rock/Dr. Light bite it?

Moreover, do you honestly think he'd let humans scrap him?

Off The Wall / Stuff that makes you think "Crossover!"
« on: February 07, 2009, 06:23:57 AM »
No matter what the source, there are probably phrases or concepts in various forms of literature or story that seems like they could overlap. Superheroes, for instance; that's how we got Marvel Vs. Capcom! Or how some forensic/medicine T.V. shows are starting to overlap a little.

Post scenarios that make you think a crossover between two series' would work! Any show, game, book, whatever!

Washu, the "greatest genius in the universe", helped create the ultimate lifeform, I bet.
And Ryoko's a Space Pirate? Doesn't Samus Aran fight Space Pirates? What if there was a mix-up?

Monks are always good. And with Chakra, give 'em White Mage spells (Priest) or Summon Magic (Summoner). Especially Golem, ohhhh, Golem is very helpful.

AND LEARN LICH. It'll be your one saving grace against the boss of Chapter 3.

Is that ACTUALLY the Hedgehog engine slowed down?

That actually looks pretty fun. How he died on the Mist Dragon, I don't know.

X didn't have an animal sidekick, but Sigma sure did.

Well, hey, just have Axl transform into Rush, and now he's actually useful.

Guarantee you Wily sold the Wall Sentries (3rd boss, iirc) to the government.

Forget WMDs, those things are DANGEROUS.

Check it; Real Sigma Battle in X8 done in SFC instruments, and it rocks!

I still think MMX9 with SNES graphics, music, and whatnot would just be inappropriate, but oh man, this makes me appreciate X8's simpler, SNES-esque melodies more.

Like the Vile Battle.

I'm kind of playing Devil's Advocate here, but it's really suspicious how he qualified that statement. How "it wasn't in his personality/how [Keiji] designed him."

Well, yeah, maybe he didn't want Zero to have killed off the cast, but what did Capcom want to happen?

StudlyMan

ExceedinglyMan

This is hard, considering adverbs modify verbs.

Well I gotta practice, somehow, or I'm going to keep losing (somehow) to all of you.

Heck, I'm trying to get critiques on another...eh...board.

I just don't understand how people can seem to K.O. me at lower damage levels, and K.O.ing others takes me longer.

If I knew that, I'd be winning, instead of ready to rip the Wi-Fi out of my Wii.

How the heck did you stay one ahead of me? And another thing; do you use that C-Whatever trick to stay alive longer?

Alright, I'm warmed up for the lag (and wasn't expecting items).

Now let's see what happens.

Okay, I'm on, but only for a little bit; gotta exercise, later.

Starting a room~

I'd put Wii Shop Channel on my "Relax" stage, if I didn't already have the "Online Practice Stage" music on it.

Good songs, both of them.

WHAT THE?!
...shortly after I got out of the Negative World, I quickly picked up a small turnip as Toad. Next thing I know, it's stuck on his head, and any items I pick up still work, but I can't see 'em!

...huh?

Also, someone explain the double jump.

Magenta line is untrue. I've admitted to watching more porn as I watched more.

And dark blue line is untrue for me; not that they're any better for it, there's just no correlation.
