"What, that strange man? Pfft. All he did was throw a frog in my face, for which he still owes me. I wasn't even trying! If he does show up, he's in a world of trouble. ...come to think of it, where's Soul Boo?"
*Booster's Defenders arrive.*
"Snifits? Geez, haven't seen one of those in a while. ...Booster? Who the heck is that? No matter; I know you want to play, but you'd better put up your toys. Those slingshots won't work."
*Bowyer takes advantage of the numbers situation. Three purple, living squares fall on the ground in front of him.*
"NYA! Rough your attacks are! Rougher still are my spells!"
*Bowyer fires an arrow at the 'A' Button. Aldo attempts to fire his buster, but it is somehow disabled. The energy output of Aldo's shortsabers was practically null. But Aldo knew his way around this situation.*
"Yeah, yeah, I know how to fix this. And I'll make it two birdbrains with one stone."
*Aldo's armor changes from its standard red to a familiar gunmetal gray. Aldo switched to the Gravity Well weapon and fired it above the buttons. The Gravity Well sucks in the Defender Snifits and the hurt 'A' Button. HP Level, Bowyer: 55%. Aldo's buster and shortsabers are back online. Aldo continued to mercilessly rapid-fire Bowyer.*

And I'm pretty sure IHX was attempting to retcon it to where X was discovered before the necessary time. If it's still the same hundred year timespan, I can't really see where Capcom is putting the Maverick virus blame on X, especially when Dr. Wily refers to a 'second project' when glancing at Zero's blueprints in PF2.

You know, I actually think that bulkier Aldo works in the context of a pseudo-Bowser role! Very early MMX design; I like it!
I'm definitely going to try and use it as an avatar, if I can find myself some host space (even then, I could just keep re-uploading

*A tornado of flame burnt an entire fraction of the southwest end of Rose Forest to the ground. However...*
"Oh well, now that's convenient. Those falling stars are putting out the wildfi---wait...OW, OW, OW, OW, OW, OWWWWWWWWW!"
*Falling stars pelted Aldo and his Troopas. More Troopas have run away. The noise alerted a strangely-shaped underling...*
"NYA NYA NYA! SHUT THE HELL UP! Nya! And why is half of MY forest missing?!"
*Aldo's remaining Troopas huddled behind a large boulder that survived the charged Heat Wave; they knew what was coming next. Aldo's armor started to glow, the shoulder pads detracted, and Aldo drew his dual short lightsabers once more.*
"...excuse me? Did you just say YOUR FOREST?! WELL, THAT'S ODD, 'CAUSE I'M PRETTY SURE EVERYTHING I CAN SEE FROM MY KEEP IS KOOPA KINGDOM!"
*Aldo notices the star that fell earlier in the possession of one of Bowyer's henchmen.*
"Wait, I've seen that before. That looks like...a star spirit...I could use that..." Aldo thought.

*Aldo squints and observes the effects of the arrow, and which Troopa was hit.*
"No...NO, NOT...NOT KOOPTAIN FALCON! He never even got to learn his new punch...!"
*Kooptain Falcon was an elderly paratroopa that Aldo had personally trained and taken under his wing...ahem, so to speak. The arrow hit Kooptain right on the top of the head, and the Paralysis essence took hold almost immediately. Aldo scanned Kooptain with his buster's Scan tool.*
"...paralysis. Karmen, can you undo this paralysis spell?"
*One of the Magikoopas stepped forward and attempted to undo the paralysis, but it was too strong.*
"That's it, I'm going to find the creep that did this! Who's with me?!"
*Fearing that they'd be unable to ever move again, most of Aldo's Troopas ran away.*
"WHAT?! AAARGH! GET BACK HERE! Don't you people know black magic?! When you destroy the spellcaster, you destroy the spell! That's how it works!"
*No answer.*
"Fine. Remaining Troopas, follow me! I'm tired of this...this forest maze!"
*Aldo, with the Heat Wave weapon still equipped, began charging his buster; unless somebody interrupted his wrath or helped him find the culprit behind Kooptain's condition, Aldo was going to make certain that his view was not going to be impaired by any more flora and fauna. Especially the pesky bees and mushrooms, OY!*
(Alright, wait, I messed up on the colors earlier, let's keep track of this:
Light Blue - Klevar: Available upon Defeating Mack the Knife
Green - Kalmar: Available upon Defeating Bowyer
Orange - Mamar: N/A
Purple - Skolar: White-Jet
Blue - Muskular: N/A
Red - Misstar: N/A
Yellow - Eldstar: ???
White-Jet, you currently have Skolar, so in the words of some taunting MvsC2 players, MAKE IT RAIN! He'll drop stars on any enemies or landmarks for decent impact.)

Yeah, I'd be throwing in the Samurai Pizza Cats and Speed Racer for the local edition of it; let's put some names out there that many, many more people know about. In this thick forest, I'm not even sure what time it is. Mark my words, though, that we are getting out of this forest alive, and we will take back my keep. This seems to be Rose Forest, so if we simply head South by following Licorice River, we'll make it to Moleville Mountain. The inhabitants there are fairly neutral and separated from the goings-on of the Mushroom Kingdom, so that will be the best and closest place to regroup. For many of you, especially the Goombas, this won't be an easy trip. But believe me, we're surrounded by trees and grass..."
