On my end, I'm currently working on a drawing of Chef Man, one of my RM ideas. I'll post it later on.

As I said on the video comments, this stage is going to give me such a hard time. :o I mean, Quick Man's stage is cakewalk, compared to this...

I love it! 8)

At any rate, the inclusion of Ninji, as a debug-style unlockable character, is pretty neat. While I am aware that he is StarSims' favorite SMB2 enemy, I can't help but think that his presence is fitting, somehow. The Classic MM series did start on the NES, which is a Nintendo console, so having a Nintendo-related guest appearance doesn't seem so strange, when you think about it.

Nonetheless, I usually play it "safe" by following the recommended weakness order, in MM games. Once I get better, I may blast RMs in a random order.

Well i can say what they look like...
Fog Man-Looks like a Ghost type robot master...that can dissapeer and Re-appear again his move is Fog Flash Which makes Enemies Die Instantly...
Slicer Man-Resembles Cut Man,Metal Man,& MM3DOS's Blademan...He uses blade type moves to Slash Away Wood his move is Slicer Blade
Overdrive Man-Is a Robot who looks like Quick Man & other Speed type Robot Masters..his move is The Overdrive Cannon Which can Destroy Enemies Instantly with one shot
Diamond Man-Resembles Jewel Man & Crystal Man...Move is Diamond Barrier which is a sheild basically.
Hurricane Man-Basically is as tall as Air Man...Move is Wind Tunnel.

Actually, I meant drawings...::)

Judging from the sound of those descriptions, some of the designs sound derivative. X(

Didn't MegaMan 4 have some fade-outs?  Like at the end of the introduction story, and the end of the first part of the ending.

For intros and endings, that makes sense.

But, for level themes? That is, um, how say? Not exactly the appropriate place to use fade-outs (especially in the heat of the action).

No, no one will check the graphics. The author can do whatever they want with their project.

But if they want to get as close to NES limits, they should take these rules into consideration. o.o

Or they can surpass them, like Speedy does. ^^

Or, perhaps they can pull a Treasure and push the 8-bit NES look to its limits. ;)

That said, this is all good to know, so thanks for clearing that up, miss Vixy. owob

By the way, I apologize for hastily deleting my last comment. I thought that you would have found it a pointless post...:-[

Edit: You know, there should be a stickied topic with all this useful information, for all the inspiring creators that would want to do an 8-bit MM fan game. It would be very convenient this way, no?

Personally, I prefer the R&B depiction of him, rather than the Powered Up one. X( Only Jewel Man should be fabulous, in my opinion. >U<

Honestly, I do not like how the music fades there. I think it's completely out of style of standard NES music from all the NES style megaman games I've played. I wonder if they'll fix this. ;)

Nice job on the level though. This is looking great so far. :)

I have to agree with you on that front. I was going to say that having Mega Man tunes fade is silly, but I held myself.

That said, the level does look nice (lack of background details aside). It was nice to see Auto in combat form again. 8)

I can't blame Align for not knowing, since Capcom didn't bring it over here until the GBA era. I mean what where they thinking? -AC

Then again, interest for the Classic MM series pretty much waned at the time of R&F's release, so importing it then would have been a pointless move. But still, it was inconvenient...

I just wish they would put it on the Virtual Console's catalog, already. X(
