I am returned.

Aside from the insects, camping was mildly amusing.

I sat up, panting. I had been startled awake by some unknown terror I'd seen in a nightmare that I couldn't quite remember. I was covered in sweat even though my room was freezing.

I swung my legs over the side of my bed, pausing for a moment to wipe some of the sweat from my forehead. My heart pounded as I stepped onto the floor and made my way into the hall. A vague sense of dread washed over me, a remnant of the dream that my mind wouldn't let me remember.

I clicked on the hall light and walked slowly into the kitchen. I finally started to feel a little better after chugging down two glasses of water, and decided to read for a while to see if I could calm myself down enough to get back to sleep. When I turned to head back to my bedroom, I caught a glimpse of something in the window, like a cat. I turned my head to look at it, and then it turned its head toward me.

I don't mean it turned to look at me. I mean it had its back to the window, then turned its head 180° and stared straight at me. I was caught in the gaze of the huge yellow eyes of this horrible, nameless thing. I was paralyzed with fear, and I suddenly remembered the dream that had frightened me so much.

In the dream I was in my room lying in bed, and I heard a faint scratching sound. I sat up to see what was making the noise and those eyes were staring out at me from my closet. I felt claws on my arms, and there was a ripping and shrieking, like something living being pulled apart. That sound was what had awakened me.

I ran back to my room, slammed the door, and dove under the covers. That thing had seen me, I knew it. I shook with a combination of fear and cold, and then I realized why the room was so chilly. I had left the window open.

Her skin was wet, reflecting the fluorescent lights overhead.

It was sweat, escaping every pore, congregating in small pools that became a salty waterfall, trickling all the way to the puddle of urine below her.

She gently swayed from side to side, bound by leather straps that left her suspended from the ceiling.

There was no more surprise in her eyes, just a hopeless realization that this was inevitable. She could not escape him.

The process was explained to the best of his abilities, but he could tell that she didn’t understand.

There was nothing left for him to do but disrobe and show her.

His body appeared normal at first, but upon closer inspection, she could see numerous slits all over him. They were on his neck, his arms, his pectorals, and his abdomen.

He didn’t want to hurt her. He never wanted to hurt anyone, but the ache was too severe to be ignored. He inserted a pair of earplugs and approached her.

As he drew near, she saw the slits opening and closing, revealing small, jagged teeth. Tongues were protruding as well, licking his neck, his arms, his pectorals, and his abdomen.

He tried to appear gentle, but all those stomachs were growling inside of him, making patience a dying virtue.

He wrapped his arms around her and tried to ignore her screams. They were muffled by the earplugs, but it wasn’t enough.

Tears streamed down his cheeks as he held her, anticipating that beautiful moment when she stopped.

“Bob. Bob. Wake up, Bob. Bob. BOB! Wake up. Hey Bob, how you doing? Your head okay? Good. Here’s a little grammar tip, Bob. ‘Literally’ does not mean ‘a lot.’ When you say you literally have a ton of work to do, that’s not true unless there’s an actual 2,000 pounds of something to do. Okay, Bob? If you drove a forklift and had 2,000 pounds of something to move around, then it’d be appropriate, and maybe even clever. But you can’t drive a forklift, you just sit in the office and make eight times what the rest of us make. You treat us like serfs. Do you even know what a serf is, Bob? You’re not smarter than any of us, Bob. You just happen to knock up a girl whose dad owns the business. And every time you say you’re LITERALLY bored to death by being forced to spend eight hours in this building, Bob, you remind us of just how unfair this whole arrangement is. Guess what, Bob. It ends tonight. I’ve got a couple of the cordless drills we have 500 extra units of. Guess who ordered too many of them, Bob? Guess who doesn’t think it’s his responsibility, Bob? And guess who’s the only guy in this building whose job isn’t on the line because of the screw-up? It’s you, Bob! And that’s all going to end tonight, Bob. I’m going to see how many times I can put this drill through you. I’m thinking ten, Bob, but feel free to try get that up to a dozen or so. You can scream all you want about being literally bored to death, because for once it’ll be true.”

I love how they feel something like this will ever stop anything.

Not to mention it violates privacy. Seriously, doesnt this violate any laws? It has GOT to violate at least ONE law.
Nope; it's un-[tornado fang]ing-constitutional.

For your health.
I'm not sure I can trust someone's advice on health, especially considering said advisor has a face resembling pizza dough soaked in tomato juice.

« on: July 30, 2010, 05:10:16 AM »
Actually, I mean villains really taking too long to just kill the hero.

One exampil: Sideshow Bob pulls out a knife and grabs Bart with it and tosses into a coffin. While Bart is trapped, SB sends the coffin into the fire, so Bart can be creamated. Problem? It moves slowly. Why couldn't Bob just move it a top speed? Or better yet, Why not just stab him with the knife?

Villains always bother with rediculous death traps that makes the viewer say this question.

Why not just simply shoot him?
Seriously?

You're asking this question about Sideshow Bob? Who appears on a satiric show?

A guy was blowing a vuvuzela at almost 11pm at night. I went down to the street, broke it in two, then threw it in his face. People around cheered, but he says he's going to sue me. Should I be worried?
I don't know about the legal system in Portugal(?), but in the US, that [parasitic bomb] would not fly as there are very little legal grounds for a lawsuit.
