It's a phobia. I got over the panic attacks when being splashed, regular bathing, and even partial swimming over the years though therapy since I was 6 or so. I can't stick my head underwater without a panic attack or passing out, though. And I get shivers when I go near a pool.
I see. Usually, phobias can't be just "gotten over", so I got confused.

But I'm too much of a [sonic slicer] to get over my hydrophobia.
I know I'm just being a pedantic dicknose, but I'll just say it anyway:
It's not really a "phobia" until it reaches a point where the fear becomes irrational and interferes with normal living.
I'm talking "that humidifier will drown me" kind of irrational.

Like them both too. Heck, currently cutting down on games so I can pay for my gym membership.

Funny how geeks are pretty much the same as jocks in some lines of thinking.

Jocks go "sports good, games bad!"
Geeks go "games good, sports bad!"

There goes any trace of superiority they could ever have. They're just the new kind of jock now.
The thing is, I'm aware that exercise is good (which is why I'm still sour about the fact that my folks offed my gym membership), but there are so many [Top Spin]s that think sports is the only way to get exercise.

I mean, it was unexpected, but still...

In other news, I learned that cyclohexanone smells deliciously fruity.

Nope. You're not normal. You're a nerd. And so are the rest of us here, discussing children's cartoons and video games.
But it doesn't matter anyway. Being seen as normal by the average person is a mark of shame. It's better to be seen as medically normal, anyway.

No viewer of Cartoon Network gives a [parasitic bomb] about sports
Untrue TO DA MAX
Kids are constantly conditioned to think that basketball and baseball are the best sports and that if you don't care for either, you're "uncool".

Owie.
You were cleaning your balls? Why you would report this...
And what sort of a scented towel stings? Unless it was something like Pledge or Lysol or... whatever.

Oh, so today, I get to oxidize a primary cyclic alcohol to turn it into a cyclic ketone. I imagine there will be lots of gasoline-like fumes today. Better than the fumes of concentrated acids, I suppose.

I didn't even get to watch a complete episode. It even looked mildly interesting.
To lose that in favor of Johnny Test, and those [tornado fang]ing reality shows is disappointment beyond words.

..I don't think you get the joke...it's not a star. It's effing Alderaan being blasted off by the Death Star.
I did get it (earlier); I was just making the point that stars aren't only 72 degrees in any scale.

I'm not to keen on stars doing stuff, but 15 kelvin is not the temperature of a star doing something.
Neither is 72 degrees Fahrenheit, degrees Celsius, or degrees Rankine.

If that K is supposed to be Kelvins, I'm going to scream, because Kelvins are NOT in units of degrees.

We all liked MATURE AND EDGY [parasitic bomb] as kids.
Speak for yourself. I was raised in a conservative household with Jehovah's Witnesses.
Of course, I don't think it was necessarily for either better or worse, but my parents haven't buged too much from the mindset. They still turn the channel when people are kissing on TV, when either I or Dex are around.
