Ammes was standing behind the armor, trying as best he could to say out of its range of vision. The armor knew that he was there, but Ammes constantly moving such that he remained behind it confused it to no end.
It looks like it's made of copper... Perhaps I could corrode it to death?
However, there was no acid to be had, it seemed; at least, not in this castle, anyway. But then Ammes felt something strange in his hand, as if he were suddenly holding something. He looked down and saw a device that looked like a grenade. It was labeled "HCl (aq) 22.5 M".
Where... did this come from? Well, I guess I could use this.
Ammes pulled the pin and tossed it at the armor, and ran like heck. The armor saw him and was about to attack again, when the grenade of acid exploded and started to corrode it into a wet, pasty mess of hydrogen gas bubbles. After that incident, Ammes continued his journey further into (or out?) the castle. He had felt that there might be others who weren't bent on slaughtering him, though it was just a gut feeling.
