Speak for yourself. the 80's were a great time in other parts of the world. Fantastic games, INCREDIBLE music, movies and shows, there was LESS violence over here, and fashion and culture in general was colorful and happy. No emo.
Sounds more fun than subway trains that have been vandalized to hell and back.

Uh... what?
80s aren't as great as you think they are. We wouldn't be able to go to Herald Square by ourselves without getting shot/mugged if it were still the 80s.

Also: The news anchors were ugly.

Sometimes I wish I was born in the 1980s. There was a lot of good [parasitic bomb] I missed out on.
Like prostitutes in Manhattan.

No, that's definitely not the case.  My anger has calmed down, and the ump in question manned up, and went on to say that "he blew that call and cost that kid his perfect game and that he's never felt so low."  The pitcher in question supposedly hugged him after the game.  To come out and admit your mistake after seeing a replay earns my respect.  [parasitic bomb] happens, but he admitted his mistake.  The pitcher knows what he did, the ump knows what he did, and everyone who watches & plays baseball knows what he did, so the commissioner needs to step in, make an exception to the rules, and overturn the call and give Galarraga his perfect game.
Aww... technicalities are always heartwarming.

This just reminded me of that folk take, the one titled "The Day It Snowed Tortillas" or something.

Except I'm 99.9% sure I do have OCD. It is quite annoying.
I was talking about self-diagnosed OCD; as in the "OCD" that people say they have just because they like to line up paper clips on their desks.

I am never doing that again.

Everything was black, and Ammes couldn't see, feel, or hear anything outside of his own thoughts.

What was that freak doing, anyway? His "accident" looked a little too deliberate...

I presume I might be in this state for a while... I wonder if anyone else knows, though.

I know all about self-diagnosis. What I'm talking about is when THEY HAVE NO SYMPTOMS OF THE DISEASE THEY CLAIM TO HAVE AND THUS CAN'T POSSIBLY HAVE WHAT THEY THINK THEY HAVE AND IF THEY DO HAVE SOMETHING IT'S SOMETHING ELSE NOT JUST WHAT SOUNDS COOL AND/OR COULD GET YOU THE MOST SYMPATHY!

Hate those people.
Now that's just ridiculous.

also cruise control

Ahem... I said especially when they don't have said disease.
Oh, that's self-diagnosis. They read an encyclopedia entry listing the symptoms, and realizing that they share some symptoms of that disease, they say "OH, NO! I HAVE [X]! Wait, now that means I won't have to do [Y]!." without the proper credentials.

Also, when people say "I have OCD" because of some quirk they divulge to you, I want to run them over with the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

I tend to hate when people claim to have a disease and then blame ALL their problems on said disease, especially when they don't have that disease.
What if you have multiple diseases?  :(

Okay, never mind that.

I guess even with pathological diseases, there are still some things within one's control. Fortunately, I have all those (somewhat) in check.

If it's not Tourette's, then I don't know what it is. Also, I could edit out the cuss words and all, but I don't even bother. But yeah, I tend to habitually type in cuss words.

...of course, I go [tornado fang]ing BALLISTIC with common mistakes people tend to do. Like saying "viola" instead of "voila", or saying "rouge" instead of "rogue". I just feel like murdering them right on the spot, making a crown out of their bones and feasting on their flesh.
I "should of" taken the exit at the overpass.
