Is it E3 season already?

This year I'm hoping expecting predicting for Satoru Iwata to enter the stage on a massive flying couch made of solid gold, powered by the collective feeling of minor triumph the Ninty employees and fans feel every time another DS is sold. To thank us for supporting the company, he'll then throw free money and kittens into the audience. Reggie will then announce Nintendo's new charity project, They're Starving (But Wii're Working On Fixing That) ("Buy a Wii, solve world hunger!"), and Shigeru Miyamoto will Do The Mario for the entire audience.

In other news: on this same day, Steve Jobs announces the iGod (you can create whole universes with it and it stores up to 5,000 songs at once!), disease and poverty are eradicated from the world and Sonic 4 is released ("It's not that bad, guys!" Edge proclaims; IGN says it "needs work").

Still no word on that Legends 3 thing, though.

The lad wandered aimlessly across the castle, past monstrous clowns, serpentine dragon skeletons, gryffons, chimeras, imps, demons, ghosts, ghouls, wolves, bats, sentient tombstones, even the odd flying fish. He stopped when he came to what seemed to be a bedroom of sorts, a fancy chamber with a large bed and a pretty lady sitting on a chair admiring a painting.

I wonder if Steel Ball Run will lead into a story that takes place in the 1930's or 40's? Phantom Blood took place in the late 20th Century, as does Steel Ball Run...and since time has been re-written...

I would absolutely love to see a JoJo story set in 1940's Germany. Mmmmmmh, sexy SS Dio.

You know, some would say you would regret saying those words. But, I'm not that kind of person.

What did you hate about Toonami?

I honestly don't see why you would post that. I can't imagine why I would regret voicing my opinion about a series of doujinshi games I have never played and know very little about. The fanon doesn't bother me at all because I'm not a fan, and hence I don't treat the series as SERIOUS BUSINESS. In a similar vein, I don't have much of a problem with the fans, because I haven't spent enough time in the fandom to meet any who are particularly viscious in their enjoyment of the series. I've only come across people who are either casual players or fans who enjoy the series unironically and without an extreme prejudice against everything else that falls outside of the series's categorisation. If you're talking about my opinion on Toonami, then so what? Are the fans going to suddenly turn into a rabid horde and track me down to lynch me in cold blood?

And I never said I hated Toonami, just that I didn't like it. It just didn't appeal to me. Probably because Toonami over here was, from what I can care to remember, pretty awful. I don't remember it ever showing anime, for one thing.

"Ooh, colourful! So what do they do?"

With that, the lad headed off with his magical seeds and searched for something else to do.

"You do realise this is getting us nowhere, yes?" hissed the claw angrily, "At this rate I'll never re-gain my former power!"

The lad eventually got bored of waiting and decided to wander around the castle for himself. He soon found himself in the garden, where a skeletal farmer was tending to his crops.

"Hi!" said the lad, approaching the green-thumbed undead.

"Eh?" The farmer turned around and glared at the lad. "An' just 'o the hell a' yew?"

"A force beyond your mere mortal comprehension, insipid agricultural enthusiast," snarled the lad's claw. The farmer turned his attention back to the plants.

"Roy', well, if yew don't moynd, Oi'm koind of busy 'ere. So bugger awrf."

The lad kept staring at the farmer, wondering what he was planting.

"Farmer man?"

"Wha' is i'?"

"Can I buy those plants off you?"

"No. They're rare an' valuabow plants wa' only grows in the gardens of 'Ell."

"Oh. What are they?"

"Listen, boy, if Oi give yew some magic beans, will yew gerrou' o' moi face?"

"How many?"

"...Seven."

"Seven magic beans? Sounds like a fair deal."

I died.

Then I killed Death and hi-jacked his powers. Having managed to bring myself back into the world of mortality, I had something of an epiphany, and so I decided to dedicate my new life to aiding the future of mankind by devising clean energy sources, finding a cure for cancer, eradicating world hunger and bringing about an era of global harmony.

But then I decided that would be boring so I figured I'd whittle my life away talking about video games and anime on an internet forum with people I've never met.

And I've never been happier.
