Well, yes, that much I understood. I don't know any other names that rhyme with Pawthorne besides Hawthorne. =P

So really, it was more a question of me asking, "Who the hell is Nathaniel Hawthorne?"

Dr. Light has Josuke hair~ And Cossack is apparently Diavolo. o.o

The style is actually very close to Araki's own art. Which I think is pretty awesome.

Alice sighed and put her pocketwatch away. She decided she would at least use this opportunity to make her exit, and so she stole away and slipped into the garden.

'Tis a nice dress indeed, to be sure.

May I ask, though, why there's a carton of eggs on top of a row of...bottles? Jars? To the left.

German bellowing + Latin chanting + dark and ominous lyrics = epic.

Your villainous creativity knows no bounds. I'm impressed!

I'd like to host a (relatively small) poetry/short story/otherwise literary contest here on RPM in an effort to spread awareness and interest in the wider world of literature. Though I would probably need the mods' permission and/or any amount of interest at all for that wish to be fulfilled.

I'm also thinking of writing something of their choice for the first five people to read something (heck, anything) in my thread and give their opinion on it. This is more a cynical and probably vain attempt to generate more interest in my otherwise quiet art writing thread, but who knows, maybe it would introduce some people to blathering writing and obscure poetry (that isn't from a dusty old textbook from the 1970's written by a jaded septogenarian on all manner of non-prescription drugs and hallucinogenic pills). But I digress. The offer is there if anybody is willing to embrace it.

These are still technically thoughts, so yeah.

It depends on the pun, as far as my taste in them goes. Some puns I find hilarious because they're just so cheesy and groansome.

Alice shuddered briefly as the shock tingled its way through her body, then whirled around to watch the lycanthrope taking her rage out on the man. At that moment, she felt a strange mixture of relief and annoyance.

Alice was getting annoyed by the man's questioning. "No," she said firmly, hoping he would scurry along and leave her to her own business.

Then talk to a friend, someone who know and trust, be it online or off.

Alice didn't even look over her shoulder at the newcomer offering his assistance. She kept her gaze fixed firmly on the other young woman.

"Help is not something on my agenda. I have this one."

I've never been in a state of depression, Mirb, so I don't really know what to say. Based on what I've gathered from my girlfriend - who's been in a pretty bad on-and-off flunk for the past two years or so - the best thing is to just spend your time with someone you love and never, ever forget that there are always people out there that care for you and want you to feel better. And remember, never, ever give up hope.

Alice heard the name "Remus" and flinched. Once the girl recognised the knives, Alice decided there was no point in denying it. She took out the pocketwatch, flipped it open and held it in her hand.

"I guess you're right."

Alice narrowed her eyes, barely restraining herself from jamming a knife in the were-panther's chest. She instead decided to try civility.

"Pardon me?"

Alice shook her head and sighed. She looked down at the little girl sadly.

"Sorry, but I have to go...I have things I need to do."

With that, she put away her knives and headed towards the door, unsure of where it would lead her.

I'm a huge Bon Jovi fan. I'm absolutely in love with the man's music, especially "Slippery When Wet" and "Have A Nice Day", to the point that I can recite a good deal of his songs off by heart and I go into total "OMG AWESOME!" whooping fanboy mode whenever I hear one of them. I'm also quite fond of the man himself in...more ways than one.

Actually, the same thing could be said for Flogging Molly and The Offspring. The latter especially, being my all-time favourite band.

"Does anybody have any idea how to get out of this place," asked Alice impatiently, "Or am I wasting my time with you people?"

Why is pomegranate so fascinating that it has to be used in almost all products?

Because Persephone demands it!

Quote from: More character ideas
Dario Vette

A villainous assassin who controls puppets. Ever since he was a boy he has had an interest in mechanics and making things work. He had a facination with puppets because of this and started making crude puppets as a child. He fell in love with a young woman named Anna when he was a young man and proposed to marry her, but she declined. She later went off with another man and, enviously, he killed him. Anna took her life soon afterwards, though he no longer cared for her. When he became a freelance assassin-for-hire, he turned her into his first puppet. He is sly, vindictive and likes doing things by himself in his own way. He detests being told how to do his job. He will gladly take almost any job, no matter how immoral, as long as the pay is good.
