"Oh, you passive-agressive little scoundrel...why don't you get down on your knees and lick my boots like a good dog?"

Deathwatch was visibly apalled by Mania's comment.

"How dare you? Do not compare to a god like that, nor to a super-powerful being! For I am neither. I am merely the servant of a man whom I owe my very life to. I am nothing more."

Deathwatch chuckled to himself, with a sound that gave the impression of a screwdriver carving through an ice sculpture.

"So, you wish to fight me? I admire your enthusiasm, but I am afraid this is the last you will ever see of eachother." He thrust his hands out, his scythe hovering of its own accord and whirling around its wielder's floating, cloaked body. "Forgive me, my Lord, for what I am about to do...I am left with no other choice." The scythe flew into his open hand, and his skeletal fingers tightened around the staff. "A true warrior fights not for wealth or status, nor for miserable rewards, but for honour. For the honour of Lord Blackmore, you will perish!"

[OOC: I'm, uh, gonna assume you meant Blackmore...]

"Ah, Roa, so good to see you," the fiendish spectre declared with a malicious grin. Blackmore, still in his physical body, approached the vampire regally. "So you've finally come back to me, like a dog begging for scraps from its master."

Aeon was leaning against a wall in the corner, glaring at Roa and tossing a knife up and down in his hands.

"I am no fool, Michael Roa Valdamjong," said Deathwatch, "If you would like to speak to Lord Blackmore, tell him so yourself." He placed his scythe against the vampire's throat. "And let me tell you this: if you dare lay a single finger on my ancestor, I will rend your soul in twain."

Deathwatch was not to be phased. He knew how to call a bluff, and even if this wasn't one, he had ways of dealing with people like this. He dropped Roarming to the floor, leaving only a clock-shaped mark on his forehead. A ghostly hourglass appeared in the phantom's open hand.

"That mark on your brow is my ultimate ability: Final Countdown. Once this hourglass runs out of sand, your life is over. Your body will die, and your soul will be trapped in the empty sand timer. There is no way of removing that mark, short of either destroying me or surrendering. And since I am but a ghost...well, you don't have much of a choice." He turned his back on the vampire. "You have an hour before time is up. Make up your mind."

Without a moment's hesitation, Deathwatch slammed the blunt end of the scythe against Roarming's throat and knocked him to the floor.

"You are below scum. I should slice your miserable head off of your shoulders for making my master look like a fool...but I shan't." He grabbed Roarming by the neck and glared at him. "You would be much better suited for something else entirely."

Thanks to Magnus drafting a couple more RPMers into BLU Team, I had an excuse/obligation to write more tales of RPM Fortress. So here's the next episode! Enjoy.

The flying one is awesome. Lord knows I'd like to be able to fly like that!

Oh, and I like the stars and the moon, too, given that I'm a fan of cosmic fantasy. =P

Awesomesauce! =D Now I have an excuse/obligation to write more tales of RPM Fortress!

That aside, I really like these characters. I know I say that a lot, but I think you did a great job here. Also, good choice of players.

And BLU Team is no longer a sausage fest! Wooooo~

Deathwatch, having sworn his unfaltering loyalty to his master some hundred-odd years ago, was shocked and disgusted by the words spoken by Roarming. He snapped his fingers, and the world stopped.

The Time Stop spell, the same one wielded by his descendant.

Once the flow of time resumed as normal, Roarming found a rather large scythe blade held against his juggular. "You who would dare defy the great Lord Blackmore must be punished! On your knees, dog, or your head comes off!"

Blackmore, meanwhile, was cackling with gleeful delight. Aeon, who was actually paying more attention to the other goings-on, noticed the behemoth Joan Rivers trying to climb up the castle walls.

"Uh, Bossman? There's some old chick trying to get up here..."

With a disgruntled sigh, Blackmore activated the cannons. A good number of hatches all around the castle opened up, and large black cannons appeared from these holes. One of them conveniantly aimed itself at the leviathan Joan Rivers' skull. Blackmore fired them, reducing the talk show host's head to a mass of chunky meaty bits.

D'awwwwww, Tsuruya Kobun~

...Did I spell that right?

So I was looking through my good buddy Magnus's art thread, thinking about what I could write, and I suddenly got an idea: write about the characters in his RPM Team Fortress 2 project. The result is this garglemesh. It's not very long and there's very few characters, but I had to work with what I was given. I didn't really have a lot to work with, personality-wise, so I had to improvise.

Oh well, I hope you enjoy it anyway. I might just write more if people like it. Also, props to Magnus for the idea, and to Valve for creating this great game in the first place.

Blackmore nodded to Deathwatch. His right-hand man nodded back. He knew what to do. Down at the courtyard beneath the flying castle, Deathwatch appeared from a black mist. Looking at no-one in particular, he raised his scythe, and slammed the wooden staff against the ground.

"All who are present," he declared in an authoritarian tone, "I am an ambassador of Lord Blackmore. My name is Deathwatch. I am here to offer you a reasonable deal: submit to my Lord, abandon all weapons on your person and leave this area in an orderly fashion, or be crushed beneath the heel of our ambitions. You have five minutes to turn around and leave the premises. Anyone that does not choose to heed this offer will be dealt with in a rather more forcible manner." His eyes seemed to glow an unholy crimson. "Make your decision."

I absolutely love the idea of the series, given that I am something of a fan of dapper Englishmen in top hats and Victorian-esque settings. I'm not an expert at puzzles, but I do like a good head-scratcher every now and then.

I didn't but the first game, due to lack of money.

Should I buy the first game, the sequel, both, or neither? I need an opinion.
