So, I'm on Brawl right now, if anybody's up for a scrap...I'd like to give it a go, if anyone's up for it. I've only ever done this once or twice online, though. I'm probably gonna be suckish.

...

So yeah.

If that's the case, I'd like to track down Yoku Man, wring his neck, break his legs, set fire to his backside and beat him with a golf club. Those [tornado fang]ing blocks are the spawn of Satan.

Great idea for a boss, though. Very creative~

"2 days without sun...  >^<" (dies of deppression.)

We routinely go two weeks without sun, get over it. We're only slightly behind Wales in terms of how much money we'd get for exporting our rain.

Deciding that Enigma's dexteral accuracy with the sword was "passable" - this result was aided by four near-decapitations, which the mentor decided he could do without - Deathwatch moved onto the next round of training. Having allowed Enigma to remove the blindfold, he brought the lad to a crevasse filled with what seemed like bubbling, sizzling liquid fire. A path of small stone discs bridged the way across, where Deathwatch was waiting.

"Your next test," he explained to his submissive student, "Is to cross the gap without falling into the lava. If you so much as allow one toe to touch the fiery pool, you will fail the test. Understood?"

Enigma nodded. "So I just have to hop across these stone platforms? That doesn't sound too hard..."

"Have I neglected to mention the pendulum scythes, lava-dwelling skeleton sharks and cannonballs that will be shot at you?"

Enigma hung his head down low and let out a slight groan.

Oh god, I got a chuckle out of that. Good job~! =D

Much against his will - though he was too dazed to argue - Enigma had been dragged off by Blackmore for some "training". From what he gathered thereof, it consisted of being brought to a secluded patch of barren land, where he was blindfolded and instructed to hit a floating orb with his Starsword. Deathwatch, ever the masterful combatant, surveyed the lad's training with a scrutionous glare.

"No, no," the skeletal mentor griped in his hollow voice, "You must become one with the sword! Think, feel and act as one with your blade!"

"This all seems very Star Wars to me," Enigma said, swinging his sword haphazardly under the blindfold, "You're not gonna show me how to use The Force, are you?"

"Enough talking," snapped Deathwatch, "Resume your training!"

Blackmore, perched atop a small spire of brownish-red stone a few feet away, peered over the book in his hand and grinned at the young man. "We'll make a fine hero out of you yet, yessir."

Blackmore grabbed Enigma's limp hand and dragged him to his feet.

"I thought...you were trying to...conquer the world, too..."

Blackmore cackled amusedly. "No, no. Roa beat me unfair and square, just like a real villain should. Besides, I have better things to be doing."

"Like what...?"

Blackmore creepy jack-o-lantern grin spread even further along his face. "Like training you."

Enigma's pupils dilated in awe and confusion. Maybe being thrown out of the window had given him a minor concussion. Blackmore's wicked smile assured Enigm it didn't. "Oh...man..."

With some amount of difficulty, Enigma looked up.

"Black...more..."

"Oh, get up, you wretched little fool. Call yourself a hero? You were lucky he just threw you out the window, yessir."

Jenkins.

Jenkins.

You're not listening to me, Jenkins.

...

Are you dead, Jenkins?

I still need that tea.

Enigma flew several feet out from the shattered window, then gravity took hold of him and he plummeted several dozen yards to the rough, barren terrain below.

With a bone-crunching WHAM, he hit the ground. Fortunately, the video-game-style physics of his world prevailed; rather than being squahsed into a bloody pulp, he just sustained quite a few scars and bruises, and was really, really "low on health", so to speak.

He let out a pained groan. A familiar black shadow crept over to his battered body.

"That was pathetic."

Rather than going into the sheer pain being experienced by Enigma, I'll leave it up to you to figure it out for yourself. Suffice is to say, it hurt. A lot. By the time Roa stopped shocking him and dropped him to the floor again, Enigma didn't really want to get back up again.

"Ow...just...ow..."

Enigma heaved a heavy grunt as he was slammed against the wall. He slid to the ground like a blue-haired ragdoll, dropping the sword to the ground with a light clatter. The blade of energy quicky fizzled and retracted into the pommel. He groaned and clutched his head.

"Whoah...anybody get the name of the truck that hit me?"

Enigma, full of that cocky euphoria of youth, grinned and dashed at Roa. Ordinarily, he would have at least considered this before lunging in like a fool. But he really, really wanted to kick Roa's ass right now.

Both are good! But Neko's is more regal. Regal's a nice word. You can trill the R to make yourself sound like a foppish git.

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrregal.

Enigma smiled. "We only have precious little, but it precious indeed. I'm not gonna sit idly by while some bloodthirsty megalomaniac like you tries to conquer the whole world. This place is awesome! It coined the phrase "sexcellent", for cryin' out loud!"

All that I know I'm getting so far is an electric razor, and I didn't even ask for one (damn smart-ass parents).

Shaving is a MANLY activity for MANLY MEN.

I got a boxset of David Blaine DVDs, and my dad's getting Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits for the family, since he's a big classic rock fan.

I believe what she's saying is, those who instructed her to sprite and draw pixel art were quite strict and harsh in their methods of tutoring, but it paid off. Don't accept second-best or re-use graphics. Make everything you sprite as excellent as you can.

I'm not a spriter, though. I can't offer much advice beyond that. *Shrug*
