"No! NOOOOOO!" Lucky shut his eyes tightly, trying to ignore the hideous abomination seated before him, hellish maw pulled into a fiendish rictus grin, its beady little eyes staring deep into his very soul.

Lucky's defiant smile immediately faded, to be replaced with a grim frown of total horror. His pupils dilated with fear. Wily had struck a nerve deep inside Lucky, ordering his troops to bring in something Lucky never wanted to see again.

"No...not...not that! Not Smiledog!"

Lucky stared in abject puzzlement and bewilderment at the strange creatures parading around in front of him.

"Okay, that's pretty weird," he conceded, "But I've seen plenty of weird stuff before!"

Lucky cocked an eyebrow. "What's that?"

"Do what you want, you'll never get me to talk." Lucky stuck his tongue out derisively at the Doctor. "Just try it! I dare you!"

Lucky frowned.

"You won't win, Wily. You just outnumbered me, that's all. I'm still not...backing down. Not now. Never!"

Lucky coughed and spluttered as the water was dropped on him. Instinctively, he tried to get up, only to find he was held down to the chair by the metal cuffs. He tried to recall what had happened, and memories of the previous fight came flooding back to him.

"Wily...what do you want?" he asked.

He has great ideas for mini-bosses and enemies.

Lucky, completely out cold, was unable to resist at all. His limp body was carried away by the bad Doctor's troops, to whatever dark fate awaited the poor lad.

I understand where you guys are coming from, and I agree that it's a risky move on Sega's part, but why compare it to Sonic 3 and Knuckles? That game is pretty much legendary amongst the fanbase. It's highly unlikely Sega could now try to achieve that same level of awesomeness. Rather than comparing it to something you should know that, at this stage in their career, Sega can never hope to equal, why not just try the game out and see how fun it is in its own right?

The Lucky Champion's aura quickly began to fade away, its energy levels dropping back to normal as quickly as they had increased. It was now standing limply, barely remaining upright, as Lucky panted slowly and steadily inside the cockpit of the head. Now that his brief moment of energy had subsided, the damage he had been ignoring was visible, even on the pilot himself.

Lucky managed a small grin. "Well, it was fun while it lasted...fun...while it...lasted..."

He fainted from the exhaustion, and the mech collapsed as well. He had used up all of his available energy.

So you're saying that Capcom tried not to make MM10 "retro", is that it?

Isn't that basically what you were just implying?

The more I see of this game, the more I'm convinced it's going to be lots of fun. I love these new mini-bosses and stage tricks, very clever and unique.

I feel a lot less like an idiot and more like an actual contributor with my current avatar, basically. Why that's the case, I don't know.

Possibly because certain dipsticks might mistake you for a girl because of it, and lord knows we can't have people offending the women.

Heck, somebody thought I was a girl because of my avatar. I had fun telling him the truth about it.

EXPLAIN.

Okay, scratch out whatever I said before.

Wow...

Well...maybe I'll try and get something done really quick, in that case. It won't be big and it won't be pretty, but every little helps, as they say. x3

There's no WAY I can get to a scanner by tomorrow evening, and I'm barely even done with the pic. Sorry, I'm out. Maybe next time (assuming there's going to be a next time).

Good luck.

"I was gonna do that anyways, boy, he didn't have to use celestial energy to pound himself into the ground." Grabbing Lucky from the rubble of the battle, he went over to where the other man was standing. "And who, pray tell are you? And what is happening? And what are you going to do?"

[Dude, no. Leave it. The battle isn't over yet, and Lucky's still in the mech. The smoke/blaze of blue hasn't even cleared yet.]

still haven't seen takofuusen

You can change the setting in RPG Maker so the probability of it appearing increases.

Or just do what I did and look it up on YouTube like a lazy git.

Apparently if you keep switching on and off the TV in your room, there's a chance of a weird dragon head appearing and some guys dancing across the screen. I haven't bothered with it myself, to be honest.

<pianochan>why, it's time to rid myself of this cumbersome IRC window and play yume nikki!

Yume Nikki loses its appeal when you see all the good stuff, like Uboa and the banister-fapping dildoman. =C

Um, interesting conversation, guys.

Oh, Cirno~ You need to be pinned down with strong leather belts and have your mouth washed out with soap. Plenty of wet, dripping, lathery soap, soaking everywhere...
