Sapph nodded. "Yes, that is a talking baby you hear." He said, pausing a moment. "I take it the others are also shrunken down?" He asked.

"Yus. Dey awe sweeping as it was vewy difficuwt to captuwe Obsidian at dis size." The small voice said. "Now, if you wiww excuse me, I am going to be taking a nap as weww."

Sapph nodded and turned to the rest of the group. "I'm still debating on it, but I might want to join the Resistance." He said, pausing again. "My digimon WOULD be helpful in keeping Wily from hacking the networks."

"I see..." Sapph said, hearing a 'ding' to indicate that his armor was fully reset and started getting up. "Thanks, but I'm fine." He said, to Taylor in response to her offer to help him up. "This suit's weight would probably pull you over..." He added, pausing a moment. "Alpha Team, how are things in the programming.

"We gots Wiwy's connection disabued, and Obsidian wocked up." A somewhat high-pitched voice came.

"Well, there's a voice I haven't heard in forever." Sapph said, sighing. "I take it Wily put up a defense?"

"Affewmative. Nuwwman waunched a pawticuwawy nasty attack as we deweted him."

(Not sure which of the digimon is speaking to Sapph at the moment, only that they are currently degraded to Baby I form.)

Sapph just laid there for a moment as all the systems came back online. "While I'm waiting for the motor functions to come back, I need to know while you're here..." He started, talking to Borock-bot. "Who was it that destroyed my colosseum?" He asked. "At this point, I'm certain that it was Wily's fault, but I need to know for sure that it wasn't the Resistance under nobody's influence."

As the trio of digimon were hit and weakened by Null2's final attack, a certain other program got activated...

"NO!" Obsidian was about to use his Repulsers to blast MechaGarurumon away, but something in the suit's programming, and in the suit itself, caused him to slow down. And he was slowed down just enough for MechaGarurumon's attack to hit square in the chest and knock him back, causing the armor to mostly shut down and start rebooting.

Beelzebumon grinned as the Giant Null Pointers were fired. He took out his Berenjena (twin shotguns) and took aim. "Double Impact!" He shouted, rapidly firing several shots.

Victory Greymon pointed his Dramon Breaker (a giant broadsword) at the Gian Null Pointer flying at him before charging at it. "Victory Charge!" He swung his weapon to cleave the GNP in half.

Imperialdramon wasn't about to let himself get outdone by his two teammates. He started gathering energy in the cannon on his back before lowering his head. "Positron Laser!" With that, he fired his cannon to incinerate the GNP.

With the massive projectiles out of the way, it was time to finish off Null². Beelzebumon holstered his Berenjena and rose his right arm to cause a massive blaster to appear on it, with 4 wings sprouting from his back. "Beelzebumon: Blast Mode! It's time to finish this!" He declared, his blaster charging up.

Imperialdramon and Victory Greymon nodded and started gathering energy for their own finishers as well. Imperialdramon in his mouth, Victory Greymon in his Dramon Breaker.

Beelzebumon BM: "Chaos Flare!"

Imperialdramon: "Mega Death!"

Victory Greymon: "Trident Gaia!"

The trio fired their finishers at Null² in a bid to finally end the battle and sever Wily's connection so they can focus on isolating Obsidian.

Obsidian seemed to just lay there and take the punishment from all the attacks when MechaGarurumon finally planned to finish it. "Go ahead. I'm an AI, I can hop to another machine if you destroy the armor. Hit too hard, however, and you CAN and WILL hurt Sapph, and I'm sure you don't want that!" He said. If he had a face, Obsidian would be smugly grinning at this point. "Though, I'm not really interested in giving you the option to go through with it or back down." He said, the power source in his chest glowing brightly before firing a unibeam.

Pumpmon made it back to the fight with the 'gem in tow. "Alright! Now we can end this!" He shouted, the gem he was carrying glowing brightly before shattering into 3 balls of light, each going into one of the digimon, who then proceeded to change.

"Rize Greymon Evolve!"

"Paildramon Evolve!"

"Pumpmon Evolve!"

The three digimon were consumed by light, which faded to reveal their new, Ultimate forms.

"Victory Greymon!"

"Imperialdramon!"

"Beelzebumon!"

Now in their final forms, the 3 digimon were ready to finish off Null².

(Pumpmon > Beelzebumon, Rize Greymon > Victory Greymon, Paildramon > Imperialdramon.)

"AUGH! Why aren't there light filters in this thing!?" Obsidian snarled, covering his 'eyes' as the flash grenade went off. In truth, Sapph DID install optic filters for things such as bright lights, night vision, etc, but there was a bit of unintentional sabotage happening in the programming...

Meanwhile, Rize Greymon and Paildramon were barely managing to hold their ground in the fight with Null2.

Pumpmon, on the other hand, had found what he was looking for (after dislodging a couple other programs) and was rushing back to the fight, carrying, what looked like, a small, red, crystalline pyramid.

------

Back outside, Obsidian was SLAMMED by the attacks that were thrown at him and he was sent plummeting to the sand below.

While the group was talking about getting back, Latios and Latias had already tethered themselves to Hierophant's torterra again. "All aboard! Next stop: the city we left from!" Latios called, pausing a moment and turning to Ho-oh. "Or do you have some means of teleporting us there?" He asked, cocking a brow (or, he would if he actually had any eyebrows).

Ho-oh simply shook his head. "I may have powers beyond the comprehension of most, but teleportation is an ability that belongs to psychic types only." He said, crossing his arms. "And providing a ride is out of the question, as I am nowhere near as fast as the two of you." He said, sighing. "However, I CAN provide you folks a way to contact me in case of emergency..." Ho-oh paused, looking at Pyro. "On second thought, scratch that. You already have a way to do that. Two, actually."

Obsidian was knocked about by the various attacks, but didn't seem to be taking too much damage from the hits. "Well... That was rude." He said, shrugging off the hits. He looked down to see a large crack on his shoulder and some metal flaking off. "You cracked me... Congratulations. You ALL just signed your death certificates." He said, energy glowing from his joints as he released a MASSIVE amount of energy.

A massive pillar of energy burst up from the sand less than half a mile from MechaGarurumon had gone to. Obsidian rose up in the middle of this pillar and flew over the group. "Now now, blasting someone with missiles while dropping a boulder on them isn't a nice thing to do."

Sapph just stood there, blinking. "Poisoned? Immortal?" He asked, looking at the extra person that he assumed to be Ho-oh. "How?"

"You spent too long soaking in these hot springs after your first fight with Obsidian." Ho-oh answered. "I assume he spent a long time here too, otherwise he wouldn't have survived your twisting his head all the way around."

"... How the hell did you know about that?" Sapph asked, not recalling anyone being present at that point in time.

"It's sometimes best to not question what I do and don't know."

Though, as soon as he said that, he blinked a couple of times and physically relaxed. "Uh... Why are we at the Ho-oh Springs?"

Obsidian continued plowing his way through the stone to eventually jam his head into the tunnel that MechaGarurumon was in. "... You know, I really don't know what to say here." He said, crashing the rest of the way in.

All Rize Greymon and Paildramon could do is hold their ground against Nullman²'s assault.

Pumpmon, meanwhile, was rapidly searching through the many programs, hoping to find the one he really needed to find to help defeat Nullman².
