Sapph just sat on the bench, quietly listening to everything while he waited for Remy. ...Mr. Bonding? Didn't I arrest that nutcase a couple times? He thought, tapping his chin as he turned to the entrance of the pokemon center. He did so just in time to see his swoobat fly in. "Ah, Remy, I take it things went well?" He asked, using his gravelly voice in case Sakura was still trying to figure out who he was.

The swoobat tilted his head, confused by Sapph's use of his gravelly voice before handing his trainer a letter, which Sapph read.

'Dear Mr. K,
Thank you for updating us on the situation, but next time you encounter a Team Flora grunt who kills himself with an overdose, please deliver them in person rather than sending a pokemon with a letter and hiding in Petalburg City. Even with a gym leader's signature, it makes you look suspicious.

Sapph quickly folded up the letter and stashed it in a coat pocket.

"Yeah, fine. Just playin' with Rehev here..." Taylor said.

Sapph nodded and brought Taylor to her feet. "Understandable. Just watch where you're going next time. You could hurt yourself." He said, plopping back down on the bench, going right back to waiting.

"I'm gonna go play with Rehev a bit outside," Taylor explained, heading outside to play near a bench. She started to mess around, playing with the Larvitar a bit. He was really enjoying it until Taylor backed up to charge at him and tripped over the foot of someone sitting on the bench.

Sapph blinked behind his sunglasses and looked down at Taylor. "Uh... You alright?" He asked, getting up and reaching down to help her up.

(I assume it's Sapph's foot she tripped over, yeah?)

The Nurse Joy smiled as she returned Sapph's pokeballs. "Here are your pokemon, sir, we hope to see you again~" She said, using the same tone every Joy used.

"Thanks." Sapph said, keeping his voice gravelly as he took his pokeballs and went to sit at a bench and wait for Remy to arrive from Rustboro.

Sapph stretched as he entered the Petalburg Pokemon center and walked right up to the counter, side-stepping around what was happening. "Excuse me, can you please heal my pokemon?" He asked in his gravelly voice, placing the 5 currently-occupied pokeballs on the counter.

((Remember, he's trying to not be recognized.))

Sapph let out a sigh as he stepped into Petalburg City. "I suppose my next stop should be the pokemon center..." He said to himself, tapping his chin. "That's where Remy would look to find me." He nodded to himself and made his way in that direction.

"You may not look it but you are certainly a workaholic, but I suppose I'm one to talk and it runs in the family." Norman smiled despite himself "Just make sure you see your daughter when you're done.  I honestly have never seen her look so panicked, not even when Hoenn was in danger of being flooded."

Sapph had to hold back a snicker a little, but he had to tip his hat to Birch's work ethic. Even facing assault and injury, he continued his work, something many people in this world could benefit from learning. At that, he simply continued down to the path to Petalburg City.

Sapph nodded and started on his way down the path. "We should probably be on our way instead of talking about it then!"

(And now I'm off to bed so I can get up for class in the morning... And hope I'm not still sick by then...)

"Ah yes of course, unlike those idiots in Kanto verification is more important." Norman grumbled as he signed the letter.

Sapph nodded once the letter was signed and he rolled it up and tied it before giving it to Remy. "Once you give this letter and the body to the Rustboro police, I'll be in Petalburg City." Sapph instructed. With a nod, the swoobat took flight, using it's psychic powers to lift and carry the unfortunate grunt's body to Rustboro.

Sapph scratched his chin and nodded. He took out a note and wrote something on it before pulling out a pokeball and letting out a swoobat. "Remy, I need you to take this body to the police in Rustboro." He said, pointing to the dead grunt. The swoobat, Remy, winced a little at the task, but nodded in agreement. "Also, give them this letter to explain what happ..." He trailed off before he finished what he was saying. "Now that I think about it, a letter from a random trainer would make it look like a killer is delivering the body of someone they killed..." He said, turning to Norman and Professor Birch. "Would you two mind signing this to give some credibility?"

"I didn't really see any of them when I went in." Norman reported "Either they left or they were closer to Rusboro."

Sapph was crouched down by the dead grunt, searching the body for ID when Norman had arrived, but eventually straightened up and turned to the Gym Leader. "We should probably take this body to the authorities. There's no identification of any sort on his person. Regardless of who he is, I'm sure his family would want to know if he's dead or alive..." He said, keeping his voice gravelly.

Sapph turned to Heirophant when he expressed concern for the dead grunt's pokemon. "Yeah, sounds like a pla-" His attention abruptly snapped to Birch before he could finish what he was saying. "Sakura? Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised." He said, his voice slipping into a noticeably gravely tone. I'll just be keeping my name to myself and hope she can't read auras... He thought, knowing he looked quite a bit different than he did when last he saw the rest of the group.

Sapph nodded. "Then we should probably tell all of them. 3 champions are better than one for this sort of thing." He said, nodding and finally returning his Goodra. "By the way, who's your daughter?" He asked Birch, completely unaware that the Professor's daughter was, in fact, Sakura.

(He's either forgotten or was never told.)

"Tch, dammit!" Sapph grunted, rubbing his temples. "I get the feeling this is another one of those 'region is in danger of destruction' things..." He sighed, looking around. "I was hoping to avoid that sort of thing for at least a couple more years..." He turned to Professor Birch. "So, who's the champion of this region? Should probably let them know what's going on before I overstep my bounds as a visitor to here."

(Should Sapph call out for Heirophant to 'come out of hiding', let him keep lurking, or is Heirophant already out of hiding?)
