So, I'm currently playing Saints Row 4 and the mission I'm on is, effectively, what happens when a fanfiction writer makes one of their stories into a virtual reality simulation.

Needless to say, I'm embarrassed to listen to the dialogue because I've been on both sides of the conversation at one point or another (the frothing-at-the-mouth-excited fanboy and the confused friend that was tricked or dragged into reading the story).

"I'm guessing you're bunking at SHIELD? I think I'll-" Sapph said, getting interrupted by WILLIS (Bat-Sakura would hear him going to static from WILLIS interfering with the voice filter).

"Sir, it would probably be a good idea to accept her invitation. After all, you've been locked in your lab for weeks with very little interaction" The AI said. "You need some practice being social."

"Practice? What is this word you speak of?"

"It would also be a good idea to make friends with the other superheroes."

"Fair enough."

Iron Sapph got back to his feet with a little effort. "Yeah, that doughy crap gummed up my thrusters though. Gonna need to change into another suit before I can get this one home to be washed."

Iron Sapph sighed, thinking for a moment before speaking up. "I'll just be on my way." He said, flying off. Or, at least, starting to. Less than a second away, something in his suit short circuited and the thrusters he was using to fly deactivated, resulting in the heavily-armored man dropping to the (thankfully unoccupied) street like an anvil in a cartoon.

Iron Sapph sighed. "Please let that be done." He said, the plates that had been covering missiles sliding back into place. At the same time, the speaker he had been using to talk to Bat-Sakura from a distance floated away.

(Well, I hadn't started firing the missiles yet, but it works. )

The barrage of missiles rained down on the monster. "Anyone else have any bombs? I've got a limited amount of these and I don't think it'll be demolished before I run out."

"... [parasitic bomb]." Iron Sapph said, facepalming. "Explosives." At that, several plates on his armor slid apart, revealing a LOT of tiny missiles. "At least this one is solid and not goo."

Iron Sapph set the citizens he had rescued several blocks away. "Now, I'd suggest a VERY hot shower... Or two." He said to the citizens, flying off and leaving a sort of beacon. "Alright, I have the citizens that were eaten a safe distance away with an ambulance on the way to the location." He spoke through the speakers to Sakura. "And now I'm going to do a couple sweeps of the area before getting my armor washed."

Finally, the bulge that had been forming on the monster's head exploded, Iron Sapph flying out with all of the eaten and absorbed citizens clinging to him. "LIGHT IT UP!"

Sapph was quick to duck under the shield. "Tch, if my sword wasn't still broken this would be much easier."

"What makes you so sure about that, boss? This guy's shrugging off everything you guys throw at him!" Beelzebumon's voice said, this time a hologram of his head being projected so the others could see (and hear so it didn't look like Sapph was talking to himself).

"Because it's a magical artifact that can cut through metal like a hot knife through butter." Then he turned to Asch. "I think it might be how he's designed. Raw power and defense, obedient to his creator, and not much in the way of free will. A 'perfect' autonomous weapon."

(Iron Sapph not hearing the plan was the direct result of me posting while the plan was being explained. =w=; )

Iron Sapph did a scan of the monster. "Hey Webhead, cover it's mouth with webbing, I have an idea." He said, rocketing skyward before starting to fly down at the pizza monster.

"Sir, what are you doing?"

"Ever heard of Jonah?"

"Oh no, not again."

With that, he flew straight into the monster's mouth.
