After several minutes of flying, the group touched down in the remains of the coliseum: a blue, upside-down dome partially sunken into the sand, the seats along the sides of the arena, and the arena itself, buried in several feet of sand, with a single platform and several chunks of rubble sticking out of the sand.
Rize Greymon touched down next to the platform and, after everyone got off, reverted to Agumon. Sapph assembled the group onto the platform and it started sinking into the ground as an elevator, down a long tube that closed over them so they couldn't be followed. "Just a couple minutes down this elevator and we should be there." Sapph said, the elevator being illuminated by the cube.

"Ah, those can wait. It's not like anyone's gonna make it that far anyway. Besides, there isn't anyone, besides the champion, that they can send after me that's able to force me back there. Last I checked, the champion was off doing something in Johto." Sapph replied to his absol, pausing a moment. "Now that I think about it... They could fire me if I don't go back when they call me..." He groaned, abruptly slumping forward to (unintentionally) bang his head on the table.
(Yeah, I'm translating what my pokemon say now so I don't have to keep repeatedly typing the syllables of their species name. =w= )

"Oh sure, use me as the transportation." Rize Greymon grumbled, kneeling down so the group could get on his back.
"Well, you're currently the biggest of the two of you that can fly in Perfect form, you can take the heat rising from the desert, and you can fly the fastest with passengers." Sapph explained as the party boarded. "Plus, I don't think any of the three of you would appreciate getting swapped out for a better flier."

"Alright! Let's bring the rain!" Pumpmon shouted, spreading his arms as several hundred pumpkins started forming in the air. It would take him a moment to build up this attack.
RizeGreymon took careful aim with his gun arm, a charged shot glowing in the barrel. "Trident Revolver!" He shouted, firing the triple shot that flew out at full speed.
Paildramon charged up his blasters again before firing his energy beams. "Elemental Bolt!"
By this point, Pumpmon's attack was ready. "Happy Halloween!"* He swung his arms in a forward throwing motion and the hundreds of giant pumpkins started flying down and colliding with the dazed snake.
Sapph grabbed the hilt of his sword, ready to rush in and strike if this last barrage didn't finish it.
((*Not an actual move that pumpmon knows. Made up for this rp.))

Once more, Pumpmon rose his hands into the air, making a giant pumpkin mateialize. "Trick or Treat!" He swung his arms down and the gaint pumpkin dropped at terminal velocity.

His digimon, meanwhile took a formation around the snake. "Oy! We need to lead this guy into the crater and bring the hammer down on him!" Pumpmon declared, somehow sending his voice to the other digimon by way of the digivice's signal rather than through volume.
(In other words, it's kinda like digital telepathy for the digimon.)
