(Gah! Stupid life keeping me distracted! >.< I miss out on jumping into conversations properly.)
Kaiser was preoccupied with swimming around, giving Sakura's Milotic an unnervingly goofy grin as a greeting.
Sapph, meanwhile, had climbed out of the pool to greet PB and Karen, adjusting his tank top so the scar going from his shoulder didn't show. "Well, Karen, how long has it been since you recruited me into being your replacement in the elite 4?" He asked.
(Also, the reason I went with Kaiser joining in the pool is because Tyranitar can legitimately learn surf, and I didn't remember what the 6th member of Sapph's team was after Hero/Absol, Rush/Zoroark, Darkshine/Shiny Umbreon, Don/Honchkrow, and Kaiser/Tyranitar.
Also, he has quite a few other pokemon, both of the dark and not-dark variety.)

Sapph let out a relaxed sigh and looked around at the indoor pool, amazed at how it was much bigger than most public pools he had seen. He was wearing a pair of dark blue (near-black) swim trunks and a skin-tight, lighter blue tank top to hide his scars. Hero had followed him in, the absol simply finding a spot off to the side to curl up. "I bet that Crash and Fang would love this." He said, Hero simply sighing and shaking his head.
As with Sakura's Milotic, one of Sapph's pokemon let themselves out of their pokeball to join in the swimming, one that nobody would expect. His tyranitar, Kaiser.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that you're an oddity among rock types and actually LIKE the water." Sapph said, getting a grin and nod from the large green rock-and-dark-type. "Just remember to lower yourself in slowly this time. Remember what happened last time you jumped into an indoor pool." He reminded, turning to the pool and charging. At the very edge of it, he jumped, curled up, and dropped in with a large splash.
Kaiser lightly walked over to the pool and gingerly lowered himself into the water.

Sapph continued pacing the halls as the software of his armor continued installing, the smell of fresh cooking hit his nose. "Either Taylor's back, or someone somehow caught wind that I had set up shop here and brought food..." He said, heading down the halls to the cafeteria. Hopefully if she had made the decision to join the rebels, they could at least discuss things civilly.

He explained, Mewtwo starting to go on about 'him'. "I honestly wouldn't know if 'he' got involved, I was recovering from, what I thought would be, fatal injuries. I only know what happened after I chased Obsidian to Mt Silver because I read into the news archives when I finally could get down from the summit it one piece."

"Also, to prove it actually did happen and am not just telling some big fish story..." He lifted his shirt to reveal 2 very large scars: A vertical slash going from his left shoulder to his hip, and a large, jagged circle on the right side of his stomach, a look on his back would reveal a matching circle.

If he didn't have work, he'd drink a gallon of milk a day (not in one sitting) unless someone's guarding it.

Once the group was in Quickie's apartment and settled in, Sapph started his story.
"Years ago, in Johto, a group of renegade Team Rocket members went on a rampage. Their trouble-making started with mutilating slowpokes for their tails... I think you'd know most of the story about what they were doing..." He said, clearing his throat once he realized he went off-track.
"ANYWAY, what wasn't put in the paper is who was the ringleader behind the incident was a man who called himself Obsidion. While it's accepted that they were trying to bring Giovanni out of hiding to lead them again, the truth of it was that they started out of rebellion towards Giovanni, having decided that he was unfit to lead after having been defeated by some random trainer that just started their journey less than 6 months before his defeat.
I had tracked Obsidion down to their base in Mahogany Town while some other trainers were running wild and battling the grunts. I followed after him while he fled, realizing that his plans were ruined at the moment, but could be continued if he escaped. The chase continued to Mt Silver. I imagine that this was when the rest of Team Rocket had cracked and hijacked Goldenrod's radio tower to find Giovanni..."
Sapph tapped his chin. "I climbed the mountain as a snow storm raged on, thinking that I either had him trapped or was going to chase him down the mountain and into Kanto, but I was wrong. He had led me to the top for a showdown, and an ambush. His first strike slashed me from the shoulder to the hip, making the rest of the fiht for me difficult. I don't really remember how the fight went, only that I also had a huge hole in my stomach and Obsidion was falling off of a cliff with his head departing from his shoulders. Next thing I was fully aware of was that I was mostly healed an in a hotspring at the very top of Mt Silver with a larvitar that had led me there."
