After seeing a good chunk of it and playing the demo, I'm leaning a little more towards getting it. I'll sleep on it.

I thought Hakumen was A tier.

What is up with Unlimited Makoto? Her 214 moves don't come out. But she's much stronger. Those are the only changes I really noticed. Oh and for the 5000 damage achievement, her Astral counts.

I also tried Score Attack a little bit. Spamming with Jin, I can deal with the regular cast. But Unlimited Hakumen, oh my god. He is a whole nother beast. His regular counter teleports to you, and Yukikaze doesn't have to counter for Haku to slash the [parasitic bomb] outta you. And he's only the first unlimited. I hope Rachel's nerfs carry over to here.

Makoto's 13th color is TTGL Yoko. And her GG color is Order Sol. I can't explain that at all. Oh and she is really fun to use.

You're used to it though. You've had to endure the [parasitic bomb] for decades.

His gag reel kinda disagrees.

No, but there's a comic.

Hmm. I did Ragna's bad ending, and it gave me the picture from True Ending I was missing, even though that picture was not in the True Ending. That's weird.

They took that out of CS afaik.

And to call back to my previous question, I was told that I had to get Ragna's alternate ending to get the picture I'm missing. I'm guessing what you do in the character's story modes changes True Story. Good, cause the True Story felt empty and unsatisfying when I did it. The only extra things I had done at that point were Carl and Tao's canon endings and Jin's gag reel.

I'm only half serious. Just saying that thread's kinda lonely and the hate you're giving the upcoming game(s?) is more appropriate there.

1. LoS stands for Lords of Shadow, which is the Kojima-supervised next gen game in production.
2. The downloadable mashup game on XBLA is called Harmony of Despair.
3. We have a friggin Castlevania thread for this stuff.

Any more mention of Castlevania in this thread, good or bad, will result in a thousand daggers in the face.

I want to catch the Rayquaza that's available in my game. It's the only thing left that I can do in the game.

Hey guys, I usually don't get to use my DS online. Gotta do this within the next few hours. Does anyone have a Heart Gold Kyogre I can borrow and trade back? My friend code is 0561-1471-0280.

Way to make me look dumb.

But that doesn't mean he's not in. Could it be just a placeholder picture?

Only 30% items on the first playthrough? I kinda hope so. Prime 3 had 75% of the stuff right in front of you.

True Story ends on a terrible cliffhanger. And for some reason I didn't get all the pictures for it in the gallery. Story #3 is missing. Do I have to lose somewhere to get that one?

At first, I groaned at Jin's joke ending being a Lost reference, but it got way better. Jin's a funny [Top Spin].

It's tough to compete with DAT ASS.

What is with the 5 page instruction booklet? It's one thing that fighting games don't have the movelist in the manual anymore, but this one barely explains ANYTHING at all.

Personally, they can evolve as much as or little as they want to. As long as the games continue to be quality titles.

The greatest truth of all.

What I don't get are people who think CHANGE IS GOOD CHANGE MUST HAPPEN and then forget that change might as well turn something into [parasitic bomb].

The PS2 Castlevanias are a good indication of that. People clamored for something other than Metroidvanias, they get something different, and proceed to hate on it. (Disclaimer: I am a fan of both PS2 games.) The internet is so fickle. They don't know what the hell they want.

To clarify my original post, I am not in any way lobbying that any and every Mega Man should be emulating 2. To me, the most Mega Man needs to evolve is introducing a few new ideas in each sequel or subseries. Which they've done in most if not all games. Add things on to enhance the gameplay that was already there. There's no need to reinvent the wheel. The exceptions of course are Legends, EXE and SS, because they're completely different genres. But within those subseries, how much did they evolve with each next game?

And wanting Mega to aim his regular weapon is blasphemy. You don't do that. That's not how Mega Man works.

I'm on the fence about Gintama. When it's funny, it is damn funny. But all the stuff inbetween the jokes kinda bores me. Maybe I'd like a dub better so I can follow it easier. And only if Patrick Seitz dubs Gin.

Also started Golgo13. He gets so much tail, it ain't funny.

"Don't change what ain't broken" is a true Mega Man fan's creed. If you don't like the same old stuff in every game, why the hell are you here?
