i don't really know what to say, really. i can tell this wasn't originally going to be a Castlevania. it's missing something i can't quite put my finger on.

and it doesn't look like this has anything to do with the Alucard game. did they scrap the original idea, or are there going to be two games coming out?

how has no one linked to the King of Fighters movie synopsis yet?

hmm. it's a shame we're losing someone, but we are getting 5 new characters in his place, so it's not all bad.

out of any of the possibilities, the only character i really want to see in is Dante.

as someone who isn't exactly a fan of the show, but will still watch it, i say it's definitely worth a watch. the show does have something for everyone. and the reactions you get from the many, MANY twists the show could be downright hilarious.

it's not a bad show, but i do think it's incredibly overrated and doesn't deserve the awards it wins. the same way i feel about Haruhi, really.

2030
to be honest, i'm more interested in the Turtles in Time remake.

that's the whole point of this show when it came out, isn't it? to see how stupid it gets?

and it isn't so much getting pissed as it is laughing your ass off.

Soo... A videogame communist are we?  :P

i ain't playing around with you. i'm playing with PB.

to see how badly he'll mangle it.

Wow....um, okay.  I mean, not to be insulting, but I thought Phantom Hourglass' controls were "child-easy" and made the game incredibly easy.  Hell, my only complaint about Phantom Hourglass was that it was too easy.

yeah, and i think Kingdom Hearts' menus are so easy to navigate, a caveman could do it.

i'm sure Ninty designed it to be accessible to everybody, but it just didn't work for me at all. it looked good on paper. but then again, so did Communism.

nyragh. i gotta stop complaining now, it's giving me a headache.

2035
That's strange, PB and I didn't have problem with Phantom Hourglass. o.o;

It was easy to just tap at enemies to attack them. Running was easy too. ^^;

well you're not me, and i'm not you. some people like all stylus control. some dont. and in the case of Zelda, i despise it. the only way i will ever look at ST again is if they announce a classic control scheme, which will NEVER happen.

when i tap to attack enemies, Link didn't react the way i wanted him too. the stylus half the time got in the way of where i was going, so i was always running into enemies that should be easily avoidable. and rolling is impossible.

it's JYB. of course he'll ruin it.

2037
It is easier.  Just as one example, compare the Wind Waker Ganon fight to the TP Ganon fight.  The WW is harder, not because I played it before hand, but because it's harder.

i dunno about that.

and tell me to my face the final fight in TP was easier than the OoT final fight. i DARE you.

Hell, look at Phantom Hourglass.  That's the easy Zelda game ever made, more because of the control scheme than anything else.

pfft. all stylus control equals anything BUT easy. i absolutely cannot work with it. i tried it out for a good while. i gave it an honest effort. and it was just terrible. it got in the way so much, i could barely hit anything without getting hit myself. it's why i don't give a [parasitic bomb] about Spirit Tracks. i can't play it.

2038
I agree with the lack of challenge

this pisses me off. a lot. Twilight Princess isn't any more easy or difficult than Zeldas past. the only reason you think it's easier is because you've played the games for so long. you know their tricks, you know the formula. if you had never played a Zelda prior to TP, you probably won't think it's so easy.

2039
if Zelda stays the same, people will complain. if Zelda changes things up, people will complain. it's a lose-lose situation. and in that case, it would seem Nintendo decides to keep what works. and i agree with that choice.

i'm happy to say i read the whole thing. and enjoyed it. and got a lot from it.

concerning the motion control stuff, i hadn't even considered the cost of these things. (maybe cause i won't buy them?) thanks for putting that into perspective.

i would be more excited like you are for ModNation Racing, if i had no idea what LittleBigPlanet is like. sure you can create things, but the [parasitic bomb] is complicated. i probably need to look at the demo footage again to be sure, but i can see this game having the same problem as LBP. it's still exciting, though, and i'd definitely play it with my friends that do have PS3s. but it's certainly not enough for me to shell out said $400.

and absolutely agreed on the PSP Go. not only is it the Worst Kept Secret, it's also going to be a flop.

2041
wow i missed some things. [tornado fang] yeah to the Koopalings. [tornado fang] yeah to new Wii Zelda. [tornado fang] yeah to Perfect Dark XBLA. meh to Kratos in the PSP Soul Calibur, as obvious a move that is. booh to PSPRE being the other mystery game.

now for a minireview of the big three shows. if you disagree, tough.

- Microsoft was worst in show imo. nothing really jumped out at me at all. anything in the show i do care about was only glanced over, or was left out of the show altogether (Perfect Dark, Hulu on Live). all the show was was M$ flaunting their money around.

- I would've originally said Sony was worst in show. it was really the same situation with Microsoft's show, just minus the money, plus an extra hour, and multiplying the amount of games by about 30. too bad barely any game was of my taste. LittleBigMarioKart was about the only one, really. and the PSP Go is doomed to fail. but the one reason the show wins over Microsoft was the people cheering whenever Hannah Montana was mentioned. that was [tornado fang]ing hilarious. also, the debut of FFXIV had me in absolute shock that they would pull such a stunt. i was literally repeatedly shouting at the TV "WHAT?!" but then we found out it was a MMO, and i went, "Oooooh, that makes sense."

- by far, Nintendo won the show for me. while some things in the other two shows made me go "hmm" or "ooh", and the things mentioned above, Nintendo was the only ones to actually make me go "Wow." and those wows quickly evolved into squeals of joy. two new Mario games, one of which featuring the one thing Sunshine had over Galaxy, and a Metroid being worked on by Tomonobu Itagaki. those three alone got more of a reaction out of me than anything else. especially M:OM. that was absolutely jawdropping. it blew everything else out of the water. it makes me completely forget about the Vitality Tracker.

semi-off topic, on G4's bumps when returning from commercial, at one point there was a woman cosplaying as Bayonetta. does anyone have a picture of this? cause HOLY [parasitic bomb] I WANT THAT.

2042
after seeing that demo, my fears for the MotionPlus have pretty much been confirmed. 1:1 is too accurate. you're not going to be able to do exactly what you want, cause any little twitch is going to screw everything up.

2043
are the Sony fanboys raging yet?

2044
that's what she'd say to you. except you don't deserve the pain.

LUIGI I'M HOME!!!

2046
wow this demo sucks.

2047
FFXIV = FFXI 2

aka i don't give a [parasitic bomb].

and here comes a new motion controller. groan.

2048
again, nothing really jumped out at me in that montage. unless Sony reveals something big, they're looking like the losers in my eyes.

2049
meh. nothing in that montage particularly caught my eye. i'm curious of Dissidia, but that's nothing new.

now PS3 gets a montage.

2050
very LOL indeed.

and oh [parasitic bomb]. Resident Evil PSP.
