So, you're pissed that a business....is acting like a business and finding a cheaper alternative to a game in which the Arcade fighting aspect matter much, much more to people than the endings of the single player mode?

Keep in mind, this is the same guy who said after MM10's reveal "Classic is dead to me."

And Oil Man might be a bit creeped out.

I fukken called it. Cross off another game I want to see made in the next 5 4 years.

I already have all four on GBA, but if this has some nice bonuses and the control setup is closer to how ZX handles, I'll certainly consider it.

Ditto.

Pump Man does look kinda silly. But I don't have a problem with that. Everyone else looks good. I really like how Blade Man's head is so huge.

And [tornado fang] you Splash, Transformers are awesome!

So is this game fun? Yes or no?

It is absolutely kicking my ass. And I love every minute of it. I think I might replay Route 666 again. It was so fun.

I stumbled upon this picture of Cammy. It's drawn by Satoshi Urushihara. I love his style.

3 of my Robot Masters are shown here. They're my original takes on Tornado Man and Solar Man before Capcom stole the names, and also Volcano Man. There's some background on them in that thread, too.

1235
I was talking to PB the other day about Capcom stealing our boss ideas. I've told the story a bunch of times now how my friend and I made a set of Robot Masters for the Mega Man 9 we thought would never come. We drew all 8 of them on a sheet of paper, for we cannot find it for the life of us. So PB just told me to redraw them at this point.

And that's what I've started doing. I'm calling them the AKN line, named for my friend and me, in that order. I have the first three up. They're not numerically named, just to be different.

First up is the first boss Capcom stole from us: Tornado Man.

Needless to say, we weren't genius enough to make him look like Harpuia. We made him look like a funnel cloud. The weapon we gave him was a giga attack, something Capcom also stole from us.

Next is the recently leaked Solar Man.

I doubt ours looks anything like the official. Capcom doesn't have as good a sense of humor as we do. Again, we went with a literal design; he looks like a sun. And pissy about it, too. I remember his stage was going to be a beach. The first half would be on the sands, and the second half would be an underwater Rush Marine schmup. I don't remember the weapon we gave him, nor any other weapon unfortunately.

Finally is one that's genuinely ours for the time being, Volcano Man.

Notice the trend here? We threw subtlety out the window, but still kept things conservative. I love how he doesn't have a visible torso. One less thing to draw. His stage was going to be much like Pompei. An ancient Greek-styled ruins that eventually becomes a sea of lava.

That's all for now. The other 5 should be coming soon.

ニトロマン (nitoroman) = Nitro Man

Shouldn't that be ナイトロマン (naitoroman)?

Solar Man. A friend and I had created one in high school. Along with Tornado Man and 6 other RMs. We can't find the piece of paper with the drawings of them. I've told this story before.

Strike Man, fukken called it.

On a side note, all the people who came up with a Solar Man must be making a collective groan, right about now...'>.>

Sorta. That's the second time now Capcom copied our name. But they got lucky this time, as I don't remember what weapon we gave Solar Man. We're not going to have a Tornado Man repeat this time.

I haven't heard any announcement of a second season yet.

Yeah, they made 1 and 2 easier in Trilogy. The normal modes in those game are now new easier modes, the Veteran modes are the old normals, and Hypermode is the old hard mode. And the Jumpball breaks several puzzles.

3 I don't know about. I assume not much has changed difficulty wise. All I know is you can't sequence break it at all. So I didn't even try it out.

On a site like this, it's a legitimate question. One that doesn't require a jerkface response. Don't do that again.

So Kampfer is only 12 episodes long, huh? That's a bit of a letdown. The show just ends with a lot of unfinished business. Well, that and a gag episode 12 which while funny, doesn't fill the void.

I've also finished watching He is my Master, which is also only 12 episodes long and also leaves me wanting more. But at least everything's kinda resolved at the end of this.

1246
It's 4 flips, actually.

1247
I tried Easy mode. It sucks. Whenever I tried to pull off a combo, it would make me do a different one instead. I guess Easy is okay if you're completely new to the genre. But if you've ever played a DMC before, you'll feel a lot more comfortable on Normal.

And I hope there are more Mikami references as the game progresses. I've probably missed a few already. The only one I immediately caught was Movie Land.

New trailer for SSF4
. Shows off some new things.

-New rival scenes.
-Everyone now has 3 costumes to choose from. Cammy looks pretty good in the Dictator outfit. Also, Mecha Zangief.
-Everyone can choose between two Ultras. For example, Ryu can now use Shin Shoryuken.

All Capcom needs to do now is just reveal Ibuki, Makoto, Dudley, and that other new guy.

Took them long enough to show Ai. As for anyone else, that picture with Phoenix still gives me hope.
